D1 is light years ahead of andromeda on this. In fact, I can't think of any game worse than MEA for that, so if you're fine with MEA you should be ok. I recently got Bioshock Infinite on Steam for 10 bucks with all DLCs. I really don't get all the hype around it and 9/10 reviews. Scenery is beautiful, yes, but the controls are horrible. I played for the first 2 hours and for me it was so messy, even less precise than MEA and by a margin at that. I'll probably finish it one day, just need to calm down and take it easy. Unpatched Witcher was also a bit worse with Geralt moving on his own for 5 seconds after you press something, similar to Nomad that can't stay still even on flat ground. They did fix it though. Well, ok, that sucks. I appreciate that into and will skip that game even if it goes on sale. Destiny 1 was fine tho.

So technomancer is 75% off right now, only $10. Anyone know if it's any good?

I plan to get Destiny 2 on PC, if anyone needs any teammates. I probably will too, we should post a meet up thread here or something. I plan to get Destiny 2 on PC, if anyone needs any teammates. I have not played first Destiny but I might be willing to give it a try. If they will have some trial version, I'm surely going to check it out. For me, it largely depends on how responsive the controls are. I really can't play anything that has poor controls and input lag. Meda is not too bad, but not very good at it and if D2 improves in this aspect, at least to the level of Division, it will be tempting. Open Beta on PC starts this coming Monday I believe. Maybe Monday only for pre-order, but open to everyone during the week.

Maybe a LFG thread in the off topic somewhere?

There isn't a Destiny 2 thread there yet... bsn.boards.net/board/30/games

Geralt mind you, not Nomad, Nomad continues to just roll and roll. They need a separate handbrake key. I agree on both accounts. When people complain about MEA's gunplay, I always remember how much worse it is in the Bioshock games. Infinite has a beautiful setting and a really interesting story, but the gameplay is way worse than MEA's. Geralt indeed handled like he was walking through mud all the time, probably to make it more 'realistic'... How realism isn't necessarily better/more fun...
