Hello everyone This is my first thread of this Forum
I've been around as guest in this forum for quite a while now
I've complete 99% playthough for ME:A [I've been playing it since it launch
and there's some sidequest bugs so I cann't 100% it]
There's a lot of good/bad in this games but overall I really love it
and want to see the series continues
[They probaby will but it will be around 3-5 years]
Now let's share our idea for the next game
PS: english isn't my main language so I apologize if it is wierd sometime. ^^''
Combat
Combat in ME:A is fantastic.I really love it
but those Sound effect and melee might need some Modification.
For example Melee attack seem light and the sound effect doesn't have
much power behind it compare it to ME3. I really love the sound of guns/melee/
Biotic Combo more than ME:A[They're going Rawrrr sometime when melee]
Also I notice that It lack Combo attack/zoom in effect of ME3 when you melee the target in ME:A
UI also need some update as well
I really like HUD from Mass Effect 1 [The way they show you + squadmate hp/shield]
It help in term of gameplay when you stratergize your teammate when to pull back
when their shield is gone or charge forward after they buff themself up with bloodrage /tech armor
/barrier
[In DA:I those buff/debuff and interface is well informative and make the gameplay much more fun]
I also played MMO [WoW/FFXIV] and damn those hp bar goes up and down is somehow fun to watch lol
but then again this change might cause the combat flow to become slower and will probably distract
player in some way as well.
Also Please bring back squad command. If I remember correctly in ME2[or3?]
You can also order your squad through Voice command too [Just like playing
with your friend in Multiplayer!] I would like to yell at them
''TAKE COVER'' all the time hahaha
Music
In ME:A There's.... well not much memorable music at all.
In ME1 you have Galaxy map / Citadel music / Vigil
In ME2 you have The Illusive man theme /Suicide mission/The End run
in ME3 you have Leaving Earth/A Future for Krogan / Aralakh Company
Those music were really great and help push the story /emotion for those scenes forwards
I hope in next game all of the music will be really good.
When it come to an RPG+music I think SquareEnix is probably one of the best in this category
The great example would be FFXIV [Yeah it's an MMORPG but Their music in critical moment
always on spot] Music is also part of the game. And I think this part of Bioware
need a lot of improvement.
Gameplay
You're Pathfinder. You should be able to choose your own path
Tempest is a ship and it can land on any part of the planet.
They should've take adventage of this and bring it to the gameplay stuff
and for the Full openwold planet should have only 1-2 that you travel with Nomad
More than that it would be really dragging out the game.
the other planets should be like this
You should be able to choose which part of the planet that you want to land
and this will be the part of what mission you're going to do
like If I'm land on this part of Eos.There's Military operation going on
you'll jump right into action [Like ME3 style.]
But if I land on the other part of Eos.It is an open world and there's a lot of stuff to be explore
+discover.[and I mean explore it! not something like SAM told me to go here and there]
You might find some useful information to unlock some other quest/area that will
affect your story. The size of the exploration map should be around Habitat7
The exploration should be meaningful and relevant to the other mission on the planet.
Some planet/mission you will have to choose what to do first and it will affect the other
example => Rescue hostage
If you choose to land straight on the mission you will be able to successful rescue
the hostage but the important data on the exploration side might be destroyed in the exchange.
This is where your squadmates coming in
As they're leveling up they will gain Mission Passive skill [Just like Strike team in ME:A]
instead of benching them on the ship. You will choose them to go to the other side of the mission
If you're in combat mission then they'll go to explore. They will keep reporting you through
the comlink how's the mission going.[Bantering ]
The success rate of the mission depend on their mission skill+Their equipment
+how you play on yourside.
for example => if you alert too much enemy in your mission area
or taking too much time in your mission the success rate will getting lower
when the time pass by.
BUT! You will be able to help your squadmate on the other mission too
if you're complete your mission fast enough or pass some bonus objective in that area.
or you may choose not to send your other squadmate at all [if you want it to failed to see the other path]
Side quest
The side quest wasn't really rewarding. In single player games
I don't think people want exp/credit as much as they want to learn new things when they do quest.
The reward for the side quest should be information/cutscene and things that will impact our
gameplay = Visible result of our works
For example Those scanning quest [ Scanning enemy / plant / planet / wild life]
If you choose the outpost to be military
when you scan enemy/planet you're gun increase damage and deal more damage to their weakpoint +
some side quest that require you to find something randomly will be mark on the map
[instead of being random generate] if you complete the planet scan too.
Visible result >> you will have Mechs / New equipment for our guard and military personals
on the outpost + You will have some of our enemy in captive for investigate
If you choose the outpost to be scientific
when you scan plant/wild life then your maximum hp/Biotic power increase
due to new genetic modification and stuff like that
Visible result >> it should show in the outpost that there's crops growing/Wildlife in captivity
for study and people is working on it.
It shouldn't be somethings like.. return quest > get xp/credit.. > thanks bye...
That's not how Mass Effect work XD!!!
To sum it all up : More rewarding + visible result of the side quest.
Finally I really loved this game and I hope they'll continues the franchise
Also if bioware staff see these ideas and want to use it.Feel free to do so.
[Hire me Bioware!!! Joking hahaha .I live on the other side of the planet.]
Thank you for reading! here's your reward
It's fan art that I draw for Drack in casual cloths
I imagine him to got his armor repair after fighting with Archon
and waiting for it to return
