Trollstore gave the drelldept in a gift pack, now that's a nice start. Also edibot and the Valiant but either of those ain't really my cup of tea. Silver soloing actually feels like a challenge without any ap mods or ammo of any sort! Embarassing w8 fails already under my belt

I recommend trying it, it's fun and fresh. ME3 sells for 10 euros in Origin.

I am 16 hours into my new manifest, and I love it

I feared the grind, but it is in fact a lot milder than I expected, and nothing like the first time around - though I expect things will get boring once I begin chasing URs. I have already abandoned bronze completely, and I am playing more gold than silver already, so the credits and subsequent unlocks are coming in nicely. I often team up with SenorZanahoria, and we found that between the two of us (and our sorry excuses for manifests), we can usually manage gold, as long as the other pugs are not completely clueless. We still fail a fair percentage, but it's usually post wave 6.
I am having pretty bad luck with upgrades to my guns: my pool of rares comprises now the Revenant (at II already), Suppressor, CAR and Argus... can't wait to unlock the Hornet next ; on the other hand, I am having pretty damn good luck with kits: I unlocked the Jugg off the bat - though I barely use it, waiting to get some adr III - along with the TSent, and already have (among others) the Krogan Sentinel, DAI, Kroguard and the mighty TGI.

Besides the appeal of unlocking goodies, the gameplay has been refreshingly fun! Teamwork is again super important, can't rely on your supply of gels/op packs to stay alive, can't take down big targets by your lonesome self without being pushed into a crossfire; coop is now a necessity, not a nice option. I have also realized that a lot of the people with high-ish N7 and CPs who use OP setups do not in fact do so to scoremonger, but because they just want to have a fun, easy time murdering bad guys without worrying about wiping: they stick with the team, do objectives, revive, and do not trivialize the game for others. There's still bad apples aplenty of course, and while my consumables are terribly limited, I still will leave a game where someone who should know better treats objective waves like regular ones.

Final thought, the one kit that completely surprised me in how effective it is with my limited resources, is the Cryo Soldier. Even without any form of armour mitigation and only 2 grenades, it has carried me to extraction on gold on multiple occasions, including against geth.

How do you reset your manifest? Or do you have to buy a new copy of the game?
