I beieve they offered the Quarian Ark as an example of at least one story they'll tell in the Andromeda novels and comics. I believe where the post mentions them continuing the stories of Andromeda, they were speaking about the plot threads that are still hung up- The Benefactor, Jardan, Kett, etc. We won't know for sure, I guess, until they release said comics and novels. We can only hope, but I hoped for single player DLC for this game and.... yeah. |

Do we expect it to be a continuation of what didn't work? I expect something that most likely won't be a continuation of Andromeda(directly at least), they're going to restart fresh again if you ask me. I understand that there are people thinking bioware will be leaving previous grounds unanswered, but why finish it if it isn't profitable anymore? Business is the answer. |

Knew it was coming but having official word is at least going to put an end to my checking up on this forum all the time. Honestly its unfortunate given the fact we were told (as well as their investors) by ea that a "significant contributor" to their sales wasn't enough to warrant at least one single player dlc is...troubling, to say the least in terms of my worry for da 4. I just hope that anthem is the run away hit they're looking for because this was just a mess. I enjoyed andromeda a lot and this is just, disappointing. I wouldn't be surprised if that if anthem too, makes money but does just okay that da 4 could be in...trouble. And that would be the cherry on this shit sundae :/

If DLC isn't worth it for them to make... do you really think a sequel would be? It was for Dragon Age II after they cancelled the expansion. DA:2 also received 3 expansions before that. It also wasn't trashed by reviewers. Or turned into a meme-machine on the internet. |

BioWare may surprise us with Anthem, or Biower may shit the bed for the last time.
This is hardly unexpected, and as much as I have been critical of this game, I am disappointed for those of you who hoped for and wanted DLC. They could have made a good one and redeemed the game to a certain extent, but now it is forever what it is: a game of questionable quality that engendered a small group of really passionately fans. Not my cup of tea, and IMO a disappointment, but to eaxh their own.

This may be unfair but next time, BioWare, don't leave the loose ends for DLC. I was far more invested in curing Ryder's mom than I ever was in killing the Archon.

Yes well, this was rather obvious for awhile now, just as it was obvious the this Jason guy didn't simply invent that article in order to annoy some people here. If it was an opinion piece I wouldn't even look twice in the direction of Kotaku, but with things of this nature (news stories) Jason's track record is fairly good. It was a harsh truth, and to me at the time it looked like people were grasping at straws in order to poke holes in that story. It's kind of a theme with this guy, acting as the messenger that gets "beaten up" by people that don't like his some of his news-related articles. But I suppose this story is only going to make his reputation look better. Whether I like the truth or not, I'd prefer to know it in advance, and this is why I think he should be commended for publishing that story when he did. His utterly immature, and in at least one instance borderline criminal, behavior towards his skeptics might have something to do with that. |

Wouldn't be surprised if it does well, but not expecting it to storm the co-op rpg market the way PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds stormed the multiplayer fps market. Anything less, though, and BioWare's future will be in doubt. Which basically means they're fucked. I would be very happy to be wrong. |

Damn idiots. There are few IP's out there with more potential than ME...always felt it combines best aspects of mainstream sci fi, into something unique of it's own. Surprising how it never really took off.
Better idea would have been something on scale of Blood&Wine/Shivering Isles, to leave a more positive last impression and remedy some of it's issues. Honestly, this could be the End for ME, unless Anthem flops, with similarities between the two.
