You should port over the maps from the N7 missions, those all seem pretty cool.

Well, I always had wished for more maps in MP - like Mars, Citadel, Monastery, Cerberus HQ etc. They would be a good value to MP and I think people who invents a different series of challenges (with story behind them) would appreciate it. Hamletic's Tales From The Trenches first comes to mind But in reality I don't think it would be possible to make them work in MP environment, mostly because those maps are too small or because they don't have the right structure. I mean, would hangar bay from Cerberus HQ work as a MP map? I'd like to but I don't think it's feasible. Maybe Monastery, or Lessus (Samara mission) could work somehow.

Parts of the Mars facility would be a good MP map with a little tweak, I think.

Off the top of my head... Thessia Temple. So much small cover in the centre but the real fight would be on the sides. Kai Leng Room. Nothing whatsoever to do with the commentator or even the villain, just an example of a changing environment. Doesn't even have to be destructible, could be maze-like. ME2, the battleground where you first meet a praetorian. I'm sure that's seared into a few peoples memories on this forum. (Myself included =/ )

I have ported a few maps just for testing. (None are farther than literally just having collision and enemies spawning in one position). The biggest issue is that there is not multiple pathways to stuff. I can move and add objects around on maps - but updating the pathfinding is like trying to stick your hand in boiling water. It is absolutely awful. We would need tools to parse it, but it'd need to be in 3D and I don't have the skills to write a tool Suh as that.

Citadel DLC, Armax Arena, Prime Evil. I like all the arena maps but they're all too small to work well in MP.

Due to how the arms maps load it would be fairly difficult to load. They have tons of sequences that I'd have to figure out. But it'd be cool to see one. The sounds are the big issue, I can't port those out easily...without shipping the whole file

This sounds exciting. It's not easy to answer though since most maps in SP are either too small and / or too linear. A few come to my mind nevertheless :
- On Mars, the big area before entering the buildings (big enough I think but maybe too simply shaped); - On Lessus, the place where you first fight a Banshee, after descending big stairs ; - On the Citadel, the area where you fight before taking the elevator ; - In the Grissom academy, I think several places could be decent MP maps.

I am sad, I missed this wizardry of space magic.
But it seems like you are closer to map editing? Do you know yet how the textures are applied to the model surfaces?

Armax maps are too complex to make MP maps. They are scripted insanely.

Armax maps are too complex to make MP maps. They are scripted insanely. That does correlate with the PS3 version of the game seeming especially laggy/memleaky in the Arena. (I think that an eleven-wave multiplayer game on Fatal Error would reduce my PS3 to a smoking ruin).

(I think that an eleven-wave multiplayer game on Fatal Error would reduce my PS3 to a smoking ruin). Can confirm, Armax is more memleaky than Collectors Hazard. The maps are also not very good for MP matches, you might notice the enemies are particularly.... wimpier in the Arena than MP, a Plat Match on, say, Fatal Error, would be nigh-impossible (even excluding ammo supply problems). The maps tend to be cramped, and open with poor cover, and the ones with good cover are REALLY cramped.
