Good question. I've rage-quit several times in the dim-and-distant, and in each instance came to regret it pretty quickly. What can you do? S**t happens .

Basically no, but I've done it a few times. A crazy lag is really required  for me to rage-quit.

I do rage quit. But it's not really a ragequit. If I see that I'm the only one doing stuff, the only one killing, the only one doing objectives and after 15 revives you SCRUBS still don't get the message, I will leave your retarded ass.

Don't think I ever have. I do leave recently joined matches in progress that don't look right or don't have BSNers.

I'll troll missile glitchers if given the chance I try my damnedest to get Phantoms and Banshees to sync them. Also, they better pray to god I don't get to the pizza first bc it's a failed mission every time

My proclivity to ragequits has changed over the years.

When I started I generally expected a reasonable amount of lag, and reasonable teammates. If I didn't have that I'd find another lobby. Not really a "rage" quit though. Regardless...

One legitimately maxed PC manifest later I hit the GiPs running and generally don't quit until I'm down for good.

Now I'll pretty much only quit if one of a very select few things are happening. First, open-mic night. I play with music. If someone's got an open mic or just being loud and obnoxious I'm out. (Unless they're funny, then I'll textchat em but convo's are hard that way)

Second, Shitty Mods. No I don't need credits; no I don't need to one hit everything to feel important.

Lastly, the kind of lag where you fall through the floor. My tolerance has gone up dramatically but it still has as ceiling. That's also very kit dependent. Some kits lag is less tolerable than others. And if I'm hatesurfing I rather like more lag.

On an aside, I imagine the amount of ragequits would change varying with platform. Console users won't have to worry about quitting RUSBOTBAIUR33G@R43V3R's one-shot mod over and over. The guys saying, "nope, never, or rarely" I'm assuming aren't sticking around for that kind of shit; or don't have to deal with it in the first place. (Or are shortly about to get boo'd out the airlock.)

I must say that you must have amazing patience.

Most especially when you try to join my Host. I swear that only a few people can actually join it lately.

Do you keep the challenge points if you disconnect instead of quitting the regular way?

I think I only quit during a game if its a broken condor match I can't load into. The rest of the time I will happily bleed out so that the pugs can do a 'you failed' loading screen of shame and then I quit the lobby.

I think my only true rage quit was a Destiny pvp match, and thats because my team-mates wouldn't stop yelling and raging and I got so pissed off trying to hear the game I just switched off the PS4

Once upon a time, when the game was in its infancy, I witnessed Air Quotes giving up carrying us "what's-a-consumable" scrubs and charging out of sheer desperation straight to a Phantom. I know 'cause I was spectating. Best rage-quit in my book, in style.

AFAIK Air Quotes is still between us (dunno why I say us, I didn't meet them back then).
