Sorry OP, it ain't gonna happen. The devs just announced no more patches for both SP and MP. Just wait and see the next reboot of the series. Maybe wait till PS5 or XBOX TWO CENTIPEDE to come out? And whatever the PC has become lol

I'm already disappointed. Not expecting anything just wondering if it would be plausible to bring them back in MP or ever despite everything which has happened. I'm still holding out (some) hope that: (a) EA determines there's still sufficient value in the ME IP that funding another game is worthwhile; and (  whoever ends up helming any prospective new ME game takes a long, hard look at the factors that made the previous entries so successful. I actually came to enjoy MEA MP a lot. It's been improved immensely since launch. That said, it's still a bit mind-boggling that they abandoned so many beloved mechanics from ME3. I hope the next entry incorporates the improvements of MEA but also borrows heavily from ME3. I am sure the ME series will come back, maybe not from EA/Bioware. They can sell the franchise or outsource it to some others if they wish. But if EA/Bioware would have done it again, it might not be this gen, it will probably be a good wait. It is sad to see one of my beloved franchise has come to this, considering how much momentum it had with Mass Effect 3. The whole ME3 ending fiasco proved how many people love this franchise. There's hope that Casey Hudson is back, he might pick up the franchise again and do it justice this time. But God knows how long we have to wait again |

Sure, but I wouldn't want them to do something crazy with the writing just to satisfy us. Especially with how this game was written and now abandoned. |
