Someone on reddit modded their human soldier to have the Kett armor and Kett stealth field ability. Here are links to the reddit thread and YouTube video. www.reddit.com/r/MECoOp/comments/6vqsgg/so_i_found_a_power_in_the_files_called_stealth/This immediately had me thinking that after support ended (or sooner, for people who don't care about that kind of thing) it would be great to see people come out with mods that add custom MP kits. It'd help keep the game fresh for longer.

It's on sale on PC for $20. I'm probably going to buy it and then get my Rich Volus Uncle to hook me up with many credits further support Bioware's efforts to make a Detiny clone.

It'd help keep the game fresh for longer. Unless they can by some miracle bring in races other than what already exists in Andromeda... I can't really bring myself to care. Edit: would have also cared if they could rip maps from SP, but then everyone has to load the pack to play together.

in a week or less, when 1.0.3 of Frosty Tool Suite releases, you will be able to mod the frostbite engine to your heart's content, by rewriting game logic from scratch (blueprints), mesh edits (export/import new meshes), and sound editing. (no animation editing unfortunately yet) it is how i made my iron man mod as i got my hands on an early version of 1.0.3 while it was in development, the final 1.0.3 will be even more powerful, and hopefully people will have fun trying to mod it. my iron man mod only portrays the capabilities of game logic editing, it doesn't even deal with mesh editing or sound editing, etc. so its just a small glimpse of the potential i wholeheartedly recommend modding MEAMP, although this is not the intended use of the tools by its creators (i am not a dev or affiliated with the devs), so be warned sample mods for meamp: - 8 - 16 player lobbies - PVP mod - playable kett / enemy races - rewriting all abilities from scratch to whatever the ufck u want them to do - creating new game modes (hard but doable) - changing spawn waves, factions, enemy count, enemy spawn logic, spawn points for players/enemies/objectives - rewiring enemy AI, enemy abilities, enemy size - new guns, new armors, new abilities, - minor map editing - adding equippable melee weapons (instead of them being a one time use by pressing f) - creating entirely new gameplay mechanics, such is my iron man mod, but eg create a teleport gun that teleports u to wherever u shoot, or anything creative u can come up with. even crazier examples: titanfall wallrun, tracer's recall, halo gravity hammer, etc etc etc those are just sample mods, the truth is u have full control over the entire game and how it works, it all depends on how much work ure willing to put in with the current tools, it'l only become easier. even with 1.0.3 you could say create a wallrun mod like in titanfall, or absolutely crazy ideas, altho it won't be super suitable for that just yet the particular mod in OP is like a 10 seconds edit, super easy to do

for instance my first person camera mod, which i have not had any time to work on (super busy IRL for the past 4+ weeks, have not even had any chance to even boot the game since so much work and shit) this was done with 1.0.2, with 1.0.3 you could create ur own FPS mod in maybe 2-3 hours if you know ur ways around, and basically just remake the whole game into DOOM or an arena shooter like it was meant to be in the first place
