Twitchy Questioning 17: Death Draws Questions

1: The main reason that I brought it up was due to the very small amount of daily challenges that there actually are in the game, power types, difficulty & a certain number of maps, are all that there is.

2: The problem I see with the combat powers challenge isn't one of ability, I, like so many others, actually can complete it in a couple of solo matches,the reason I wanted TC damage to be added to it, well, was summed up in your reply, it is limited to pretty much to only the Human soldier soloing the game for the most part & not everyone has either the time, or skill to solo, so my idea, if is something that can be implemented, would expand the character pool that could complete this challenge & not limit it to a solo challlenge.

Anyway, that was my reasoning behind my questions, but if you don't want to ask them, then don't, I won't be offended at all & thanks for taking the time to reply & voice your opinion on the matter.

Don't feel bad! I haven't seen plenty of movies "everyone should have seen".

That's a good question. We know the app team is a separate team from the Edmonton MEAMP team, and we also know that team (app team) supports all of Bioware (not just MEA), so it will depend what priorities they have been given. Will definitely try to ask this.

Although if I were BW, I'd release one of the warp kits to show off another new power.

1) Since we won't be getting warp ammo because of no new patches, can I please have the name and address of whoever made that decision so that I can punch them in the face?

3) Since elemental debuffs are cancelled by certain ammo powers and it likely will not be fixed because of no new patches, can I please have the name and address of whoever made that decision so that I can punch them in the face?

4) I agree with the combat damage challenge issue. I can get the biotic challenge done in like 2.5 gold games with a full squad. The tech and combat challenges usually take me about 7 gold games with a full squad. That isn't so bad on weekends, but is fucking awful on weekdays. Part of this is because I suck at grenades, but it is also because the tech powers in particular don't deal a super high amount of damage and are more for debuffing/stunning/distracting enemies, and turbocharge, one of the few non-grenade powers, doesn't reward any challenge points, so it's down to concussive shot, barricade (if that actually gives any noticeable points), and flak cannon. Concussive shot doesn't really seem to do it much faster, so it's pretty much only flak cannon spam. I do enjoy this, but it still takes a freaking long time.

I mean I did that with the scrappah instead of a soldier, but it's boring as fuck and still took me multiple games.

There's a huge balance discrepancy here, and it'd be nice if they would fix that.

I'm at a loss, no new patches and updates, but bioware can still make "balance changes"? For some reason I don't believe that any of the weapon or power changes can be done without a patch. Also, even if they could, if bioware would even care to do so at this point. (because they should have already done so...and if they can, would honestly just piss me the fuck off...)

Also, with no future changes comming in, what really is the point in having a twitch questioning? Everything will at core be answered with "can't change with a patch." All jokes aside I am honestly curious.

I mean unless its just for setting up games with devs or something. Or changing fluff......

I got a discrete sense from Fernando's twitch responses that server-side balancing isn't always an option, as if it doesn't work for certain weapons. It may desync with the UI, or maybe it's wonky with ROF or something and requires a patch to hash out all the issues.

I made weapon stat suggestions in one of your other Twitch threads for the Halberd and Sandstorm. I can't look for them right now though. They're good.
