I didn't appreciate that his passives only have +25% hp/shields. It's normally like 40-50%. Makes his high base hp not very impressive.

Definitely a bit of a conflict for sure, and I'll admit it's a reach. Hell, maybe the guys just one of those PUGs that helps with objectives and revives but insists on flamethrowing everything around you or fires artillery with a damn Naladen. I'd say that's being a team player that burns bridges. Also see vanguards that detonate cryo debuffs.
