From Multiplayer Livestream Summary - 24 August 2017Video link: player.twitch.tv/?video=v169454322Conal Pierce (community manager) statement on MP support - paraphrased. No more patches for MEA, so no more SP content, no more SP DLC. (Also means no more MP patches per Bastiaan.) No big updates, no future patches. We do have more MP content that is coming in future months: new characters, new content to be unlocked, Apex missions. More info on that at a later date. As well as plans for N7 Day.

After that letter people still discussed possibilities that something was already done and might be released. The way they talked on this stream, even MP is dead - no patches for anything, period. And that stream was mostly discussed on MP subforum, since it is about MP and SP was just mentioned for a confirmation.

MP DLC/a few more character kits are still incoming, but they won't be supporting the game long-term. Any future changes would have to be done server-side, and are highly unlikely. MP support is at an end. (That said, we've discussed this pretty thoroughly, already. OP is days behind the news.) Scary point, regarding the introduction of new bugs. We already have so many at haven't been resolved, most of them created by patches.

This is why I mentioned in the title "for those ignoring MP subforum" - I do ignore MP forums (wandered there by chance), and was very surprised to find out that MP-support is also effectively cancelled.

Already knew about this from their blog a while ago. The game IS DONE on any kind of content support single player and multiplayer. Yes they're still continuing mp but only to the absolute minimum with server side support and nothing else.
Being how even the multiplayer is losing support that only supports what I said would happen from the start(for the MP, I'm legit surprised on single player getting shut down). A rehashed downgraded ME3 multiplayer will not hold up and it'll die out slowly. You can go to the MP forums and see just that. Even if it was great mass effect nor dragon age have any presence in the multiplayer business to really "milk it" like some say EA would be doing. I always viewed the tacked on multiplayers as fan service and just a cherry on top (barring unless they were bad). I guarantee you'd never even see 10k players on all at once.

I don't think you understand what you're talking about. There will be no more patches, so nothing is going to be changing for SP. New content, new characters for MP have to come from somewhere, if they aren't already part of the game. So, patch, update, however you want to call it.

The only downside is, SP players will get them too, with all their potential of messing things up. No, there are no more MP patches. The last patch added all of the additional MP content we are going to get; they simply haven't "unlocked" all of that new content on MP server side because they're doing a drip-feed of "new content" for MP. Folks in the MP forum already had datamined the last patch, so we know we have two new weapons and four new human kits renaming to be "unlocked" server side and that's the end of additional MP content (other than them mix and matching APEX missions, which is done server side and requires no patches).

A blog announcement, a website announcement, and a livestream announcement have told you there will be no more patches.
