I want to know!
I allow up to TWO entries. Why? Because I know that while Aria and Morinth can be considered 'lesser' asari squadmates, I still want them to have some due respect by those who like them. But if you want to go Liara and Samara, or Liara and Peebee that's fine too, though I'd slightly prefer you just choose one entry in those cases.
My answer(s): Liara and Samara (haha I don't even follow my 'rules')
Liara just has the material and emphasis and somewhat likability enough that I can't help but give her the kudos for now. This might change if there's multiple (even just one more) game with Peebee, I dunno, but Liara is just a standard for me, and imo often many of us unless we are the niche that despises her.
Samara isn't perfect, and some of the tropes about her are funny, but I really enjoyed having a 'middle aged woman badass' sort in my squad. I didn't use her always, but she was in the top tier for me in ME2, and I made sure to do any content related to her (save for a 'romance') in ME3.
Morinth could have been enjoyable with better ME2 and especially ME3 implementation, but instead she was just a mission gimmick. I do like some lore concepts she perhaps alludes to, but as of MEA these concepts haven't been focused on.
Peebee... okay, like how I see MEA squadmates in general, she's not terrible. But I don't care. Her story, I don't care. Her personality, I don't care. Everything about her says to me that maybe I'd like her in a more polished MEA2, but instead I am only nicely surprised that she isn't as bad as I was bracing for her to be. I think I already knew I wasn't going to love her as soon as she got all escapist about the Milky Way. Yes, I know it can be interpreted as her weirdly deflecting the questioning of why she went to Andromeda. It was still stupid, and reminded me of the fans themselves that insist that there's nothing left in that galaxy. Yes, I'm sure the galaxy we only saw 0.000000000000001% of (in a galactic society that's seen only 1% of the galaxy) is out of stories for us. Sure.

Squadmate. Who is your favorite overall? I didn't see that. The main title just had asari. Lexi. I actually really like Lexi. There's a few niggling details I don't like (such as such new focus on being some Counselor Troi mental wellness woman, though this is mitigated by her being involved with several other things), and I'm still unsure about other accents on asari, and I wish the face was more unique (that's the MEA-wide problem), but she's at least my favorite 'doctor' character of Mass Effect. A little part of me somewhat wanting a MEA2, is to see a developed Lexi character. She can keep the general face shape and personality, but give both of them some more unique qualities. Even bring better main plot involvement. |

I voted Liara in the poll, but she is actually tied with Keri T'Vessa.
Keri is just so adorable. I always have time for an interview, and she can have all my minutes. *swoon*
Keri has found life in fanfiction. Right now, I am working on re-writing her date scene and adding some fluff pieces to her romance with my Ryder. Then, it's on to a standalone episode for her, and I will explore her involvement with the Kett attack on the Nexus and write her meetings with Tann.
So far, in my ME:A universe, she married Alex and they are planning to move to Meridian.

I voted Aria, but could have voted for Liara since I'd say I like them equally for different reasons. Outside of being Asari and having a biotic power set, I wouldn't normally group them together in terms of character types (since I assume we're talking favourites in character terms and not in squad composition terms).

Liara, my favorite MET romance (tierd with Garrus), she is just that quiet, geeky type of person I love. Would have picked Lexi too if she was on the list, but alas...I chose Samara instead. There is something in her calm and collected warrior demeanor that's interesting.

Shiala If not her, then Keri T'Vessa I am of the opinion that we should've had the option to romance Shiala. Of the ones on this list. I'd go with Liara, but only if it was from ME1 she was horrible afterwards, I'd also pick Peebee. If Shiala was on this list, I'd pick her over Liara. |
