WHAT NONSENSE DO YOU SPEAK? OF COURSE THE FAILURE OF ANDROMEDA IS THE REASON GAS PRICES AND EVEN BREAD AND OTHER NECESSITIES HAVE BECOME INCREASINGLY EXPENSIVE!

There was a huge backlog of petroleum that needed to be processed. This is going to be nuts once this whole thing blows over. There aren't enough refineries to keep up with demand and that's an issue. If they don't want America to go solar by 2020, they had better start building. $1/gallon or .33 per liter is what the market should allow so the 99% can start fragmenting into the middle class again... whatever the heck that percentage used to be when it mattered. If not, I'm going solar/battery all the way. It's not about the environment for me. It's a plus, but for me... it's my freedom to exercise to choose where I spend my money. I hate monopolies as passionately as Teddy Roosevelt. More refineries means more jobs means more off-shore drilling means more cheaper drives on American highways and means more creativity. Otherwise, slap a battery on it and let this Texas sun power it like a nuclear reactor.

Gas prices have been 1.94 to 2.09 a gallon tops for Regular for awhile now. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes up a dollar.

We have a glut of oil from the Middle East waiting to be processed. Iraq needs it to stay afloat and Venezuela can't even get the rigs to function (you know... the ones Chavez nationalized) and his country is about to exhaust itself into starvation. We can't buy their oil, not because of politics, but we're really, really, really backed up with crude. Fracking in Texas is all, but dead. These ranch owners are seeing money in solar panel arrays because their wholesale cost is getting cheaper and cheaper.

It's £5.10+ per gallon here, which Google tells me is $6.59

If I pay this extra dollar, can I buy gas from you guys?
