Yep. Mushrooms were a certain way to get in contact to your preferred deity. To stay on topic: Pork steak is bad, bacon is good. I eat my moose entrecote medium rare.

Actually the theory that certain non-kosher foods are non-kosher because they are unsafe to eat or couldn't be prepared safely in ancient times, has been pretty much debunked. It's a religious thing. Who knows why the ancient Jews did it? Maybe it really was because God told them to. Yeah, it was the RNG God. So, the ancient Jews drew pork, the ancient Hindus drew beef, the ancient Muricans drew horse meat etc...

I'll try anything that's not a featherless biped (or endangered) at least once. Really? So, you actually still poultrymunch as well? It was my understanding that your ancient order abstained from munching poultry ever since Salmonellus Entericus I cursed them during the First Inquisition in 1185...

If you need to put sauce on a steak you're over cooking it. Eat it blue to blue rare like a man and you don't need to artficially re-hydrate it and hide the flavour with sauces.

Are we talking about Asari Steak's? I hear the thigh meat slow cooks really well... On topic (or is there a topic) There are numerous ways to cook a steak. The simplest way is to grill it medium-rare and merely adding salt and pepper. If you are cooking it in a pan, than the jus (which is a sauce; often times a wine reduction with herbs), is typically and traditionally used. This is common knowledge in the culinary world Edit: I'm friggin' hungry now.

The simplest way is to grill it medium-rare and... Fucking ruined. You'd might as well but your salt and pepper on an old shoe.

Isn't that what 'well done' is? After all, you'll get a cut of meat selected specially for the intense charring and won't be as good as you'd get if you ordered medium or below
