Blue?  Are we talking about Asari Steak's?  I hear the thigh meat slow cooks really well...

On topic (or is there a topic)  There are numerous ways to cook a steak.  The simplest way is to grill it medium-rare and merely adding salt and pepper.   If you are cooking it in a pan, than the jus (which is a sauce; often times a wine reduction with herbs), is typically and traditionally used.    This is common knowledge in the culinary world

Fucking ruined. You'd might as well but your salt and pepper on an old shoe.

Personally, I prefer my steak ultra rare...
