Good. Now it's actually worth doing. Did they remove the Hydra spam, or just find some way to make it stable? There was no Hydra spam when they played it during the stream. So it's just straight Bronze Roeklaws on Aqua now? |

I was super excited to see the Hydra spam, then they stealth fixed it before I even got a chance to play it. RIP fun. They need to do something like that again with a warning that it might crash the game in the mission description or something.

I got to try the Hydra's, but crashed on wave 3 unfortunately. I wanted to finish I then got the premium pack as a reward after the hydra fix. I had under 400k, so I opened the pack and bought 3 reserves. ended up with Piranna IV, Exemplar VIII, Kishock I and some Juggers (not bad at alL!!) This morning I see the did the apex elite pack fix, and got my Piranna V. Despite all that, I'm feeling underwhelmed and sad the game is wrapping up. |

i got a crappy pack the first time too, no UR.i guess after they fixed it i checked the challenge screen said i had to do it again for my apex elite pack, got it after finishing it the second time

I honestly am dumbfounded by how many people had technical issues with this mission - I experienced nothing of the sort last night when I started this up solo, I wanted to discover what the fuss was about as I figured it was some ridiculously silly mode causing these crashes (all Adhis with double wave lengths? Lulz). Even had my friend who just bought the game join in the start of Wave 4 and we finished up as a duo and collected our APEX packs with no problems.
What specifically caused all these crashes?

I honestly am dumbfounded by how many people had technical issues with this mission - I experienced nothing of the sort last night when I started this up solo, I wanted to discover what the fuss was about as I figured it was some ridiculously silly mode causing these crashes (all Adhis with double wave lengths? Lulz). Even had my friend who just bought the game join in the start of Wave 4 and we finished up as a duo and collected our APEX packs with no problems. What specifically caused all these crashes? You needed to have played the "non patched" version of that mission to experience the issues. Wave 3 was basically 40-60 odd spawns of Hydras all simultaneously. That alone doesn't kill and crash the ME:A client. Oh no. It's when they all being to track you with their sights to launch their rockets. Once you have around 15-20 of them doing that, you will crash to desktop. As to what exactly was the cause of that issue, whether it was a memory issue, bad calculation, only the devs will know that. |

I still wish that they'd left 5 Hydras on wave 3, and maybe 7 on Wave 6 and 10 and wave 7? .....Yes, I'm a masochist. |

As to what exactly was the cause of that issue, whether it was a memory issue, bad calculation, only the devs will know that. For me, on PC (Win10), the crash was actually caused by unrecognized command from the server which is purely a sync issue. If the game cannot sync with the servers when it needs to, it always reliably crashes. I run medium graphics and there was no frame rate drop or anything else related to performance and Win10 did not notice anything unusual. So, like with all other crashes, it was a basic windows hack patented by Bioware-Frostbite ensemble. |
