I wish there were more of these type missions that awards packs. Equilizer X, Katana-S V, N7 Eagle IV, Scattershot-Concussive I, and 5 level 4 experience enhancers. Three rares and an ultra-rare...not a bad haul.

I was super excited to see the Hydra spam, then they stealth fixed it before I even got a chance to play it. RIP fun. They need to do something like that again with a warning that it might crash the game in the mission description or something. Well, maybe I'm a weirdo or whatever, but I certainly enjoyed the Hydra spam craziness. Was giggling like a complete idiot. Sometimes it's fun going totally nuts. It's a game, after all! Call it "the ultimate penalty" or something. If you suck, you don't just fail, but CTD. |

During my recent alt account adventures, I found out something interesting about the celebration mission. Even if you fail, you still get the Apex pack. On a fresh account, I hosted a private solo on the celebration mission, deliberately died immediately, and got the pack right afterwards.

FWIW I did finally boot up MEAMP just to do the Celeb. Mission. (Er... the first one.) Private lobby, started, immediately died, and did get the Apex Elite Pack.
On XB1.
I hope they make all future Apex Elite Pack missions like this... will make getting them far faster.
