Well, after a very hectic gold game started, i noted a player in our game called Minsc27713 who was clearly botting this gold game. Punches, evades, shoots at nothing.. gets stuck, doesn't contribute.. and leeches entire games. I tried to get him kicked.. but to no joy. So be aware .. this one is a new one i've only noticed tonight for the first time.
Last time i posted about one, someone said.. evidence would be nice.. here you go....

Apex 20K people don't even know how to change the map or faction in a lobby, you really expect them to know how to kick mid game? At this point in the game, I honestly envy this person. The game is dead and the little that are left are the worst pugs in history of any game. At this point I'm glad to have at least a bullet decoy.

Yeah why is it that people haven't learned how to vote kick someone out? I agree yes, a bullet sponge can be handy but i would much rather someone inexperienced actually playing and doing that, than some bot player.

Vote kick notification should appear on screen (in a subtle way of course) Also, I've noticed playing with a friend, we both vote kicked a leecher, but the 3rd guy wouldn't vote. I thought the guy was ignoring the leecher, then arrived at wave 7 he finally decided to kick the leecher. It might have been to punish him harder, but I'd prefer he kicked him at wave 3 so at least we can (hope to) get a good player to play with

In that game it was later in the evening, and i'd disabled my mic by unplugging the usb cable to the device, sadly though when you do that , you can't just plug it back in mid-game and then talk to people.. not with usb anyway as it detects the device and by then ME:A has deemed device no longer available.
I honestly don't even think sometimes when you do talk on a working mic that everyone can hear you either, so many people mute other players, i tend not to talk at all during the game, but when I experience bot/hack users i tend to speak up then. Only in one game recently did everyone vote kick the offender, but i wish communication was better.
I would prefer to kick the bot very very early, so that they get no MP credits at all, or at least minimal.

Implimentation of mic usage was also pretty bad, it took me until about 40hrs in to finally get it disabled so I could use other chat programs at the same time without open-broardcasting (I usually just rely on the mute switch on my headset, since it was the only reliable option on the PS3 in ME3), and now, I can't get it to broardcast even when I want. At this point, I don't even care to try and fix it, and I don't blame PUGs for open mics anymore, I just mute them (amazing feature, btw).
Also agree that vote kicking needs a notifaction to all the non-voted people in-game.

I noticed he popped in at about wave 2, but didn't recognize the name till about wave 5. Lemme just put it this way, if this bot is putting on equipment and pushing out 22k points all the time, this bot is better than 99% of the average pugs on PC, because as you can see below him....

Believe me, when you encounter one, you will know.
Some just sit in the start circle, they do fire a few shots now and again, or they may move slightly, but you will know by several factors.
Variant #1: The Start area/extraction circle sitter 1. Their score is minimal likely from objectives won by the rest of the team. 2. They rarely move.. they don't follow round the map and participate. 3. They die OFTEN and no matter how many times you revive them, you can guarantee they will die again, and again. 4. 99% of the time they won't have moved, and will sit behind cover in the start area.
This type of bot relies on you to do all the killing so that they can get the MP credits/mission funds etc for zero effort on the bot owners part.
Variant #2: The faker 1. You will observe that they punch at things that are not there multiple times 2. You will observe them shooting at things that are not there 3. They will often be looking out towards the edge of the map, and even unloading an entire clip at the outside of the map. 4. They will use their evade often to move. 5. They will not actively engage into any fight 6. They will die often. 7. They will not revive you.. the bot has no idea how to do that. 8. You will not get any help from the bot, they are controlled by a macro, how could they.. unless of course their random punch or shot happens to hit an enemy mob by chance only. 9. You will observe them moving around the map, but not with any sense of direction. SO they will get stuck, they will get torn a new butt by the enemies and they will die.
THIS type while it may seem more clever, you really notice even more because of the sheer lunacy of the way it moves and appears to be detached from everything going on around it.
The OWNER of them puts them in game, perhaps even auto launches/readies into games and leaves the bot running just like that screwing over game..after game.. .. after game.
and as far as 'how do you know he is a bot'.. believe me.. you WILL know if you are observant enough to spot the above symptoms i've outlined.

RonnieBlastoff You were lucky. Put it this way, I don't call out a bot unless I actually see one. I have a video of the entire match to go from and my vid only really shows a small part of it. So this same player with the ability you described in your game, managed to play all but the early part of wave 1 in my game, and came out with only minimal score at the end.. less than 10k and likely just from getting objective points achieved by the other 3. So it could be that when this person is IN and at home, they play like you saw, but when they go to school/work or out with their friends, they leave their char botting. Anyway, i know what i saw, and no way was this person in control of the character.

Not disagreeing or trying to disprove what you played, I see the vid, just saying, same person was in my game putting in work, perhaps as you say they were home and the bot wasn't running. But honestly, even 5K points at the end of the game is better than some actual live pugs on PC.

There is that sure, but give me a pug that is at his keyboard over a macro controlled character any day. The main purpose of the post (OP) in general was to give a heads up to those of that do still play on the pc platform that someone is out there botting, i've seen gold games go south because of these bots, and not always because you have to 3 man it.. heck i've 2 manned a gold and one day i'll try to solo one, but when you get someone botting that dies, and one of the other two players who you are with then dies trying to revive the bot.. the game kinda shifts to a different gear from that point.
I really want to do my best to make sure folk aren't getting shafted in their games by bots if i can, and if all i can do is at least forewarn people, then thats as best i can do.
