I think I might have just retired by mistake

I haven't played in about 2 weeks. Didn't get the Juggy or free pack. I started it up the other day but said fuck it and played Titanfall 2 instead

It happens. Eventually. I played a gold pug after rage quitting from 1.09 or wossname this very week end. I dedicate the match to you. I ragequit the following silver pug though. I wanted to try the Gladiola but got Remnant and just said "Fuckit".

I retired from multiplayer too, although I did the celibation mission, got the pack, unlocked both the Juggernaut and Silhesh from the pack, but went on completing the singleplayer campaign instead, which I did.

So now I put Andromeda on hiatus until I get to my second playthrough. Time for other stuff. Single player exclusively, since that's what I usually do. ME3MP and MEAMP were the exceptions.

Next game in my Steam-backlog: SOMA. Totally different from Mass Effect, but pretty interesting, if you like this type of games...

Don't get me wrong: I had shitloads of fun in the MEA multiplayer (unlike most of you here), despite 1.09, but for some reason the "no further support" official message was the straw for me (like 1.09 was for a lot of you). I was more pissed-off about that than I'm used to from myself, and I'm still/even more sad/angry when finally having completed the campaign. Sure it was inevitable, but I had some hopes things would turn out differently...

Last night was my final night with the game, so I actively retired

Destiny 2 is out and what I plan on playing now. I did go out with a bang though, using the Juggy... hit rank 20 with him, bought my final premium pack and got a double Ultra Rare.

That's the perfect way to go out!

If Andromeda wasn't about the only game that I could get my FiL to play with me, I'd have quit months ago. I managed to slog through the SP campaign, but I already know I'll never play it through again like I did all the previous ME games.

Bioware committed the cardinal sin, it's just not fun. I'd forgive them the long wait, I'd forgive them the graphical glitches and the fact that it just doesn't look very good. But it's just not fun, and that can't be forgiven.

Except for MP with my FiL, I've gone back to trying to finish DA:I. I didn't realize how good it is until I played ME:A. I'll probably make it through this time...as long as I don't look at any Witcher 3 videos and want to start my second play through of that first.

Thats how it happened with me. One day I finally got a batarian to XX (I never played a character that was missing skill points) and colored his armor and whatnot and said to myself "nah, I'll play him tomorrow". Then tomorrow came and while I was moving the mouse to open Origin I decided that I just didn't feel like it. So, I played something else and have been playing other things since. It's not even a "fuck this this game" thing. It's a "it's too much of a chore" thing.

Yeah I think it's happened to me. I took some time off mass effect to play everspace and got hooked. The two times I loaded mass effect I shit it down because I wanted to play everspace. Now destiny 2 is around the corner and pre-loaded, I can't see myself coming back.

I did whatever the challenges took until about 10 days ago. And it was just getting to feel like work. Struggled to finish the Gold map challenge.

Later, I did play the "Celebration Challenge" on both XBOX and PC, just for the APEX pack. Forced myself really. And was relieved when I joined on W5 to make it shorter. Not enjoying it. So ...

100+ hrs and I'm done.
