I think I might have just retired by mistake

These retirement threads is the only thing keeping me hanging around.

Oddly I've actually been playing again after almost 2 months of not playing. I managed to burn myself out on Skyrim and got bored so I hopped back on. I do enjoy the batarian scrapper though and of course ponytail adept.

Speaking of camping pugs, I've been in several games on Zero where pugs camp that back area the entire match and refuse to help objectives. One time I happened to be playing my kineticist  and during a hack objective one little pug refused to move. So I picked up an explosive barrel with pull, held onto it, left the hack and walked all the way to the pug and launched the barrel at them. They were not happy 

I tried to do that again jut the other day with ponytail. Since she can't really throw things, I just causally pickup containers and lay it next to people then shoot it. But some pugs started to catch on and started shooting the things out of my hands when they saw me coming. Teeheehee!!!

So, JRandall, how's that tomato garden coming along now that you've retired?

Oh I have to absolutely try this. But not on pugs... Muahahhhahhaaa!!!!

Well, I didn't expect it to come before N7 Day but yesterday it just was there all of a sudden: no desire to play any further in either SP or MP. I've arrived at ~75% playthru in SP for the second time and - again - I don't feel any particular urge to finish it. Thus, I have decided not to do it and retire as well.

As for MP, I feel that the devs have just left us out there, especially since the no DLC announcement. And if that store runs on RNG, then perhaps they should turn it on.

Don't get me wrong, I had fun with this game and I still think MP could be brought back to life through modding, I just don't think it's going to happen. And, all things considered, I am left with the feeling they have squandered the franchise for other venues: both SP and MP come across as having been abandoned half way. It's not that I'm mad or anything, just a bit sad, rather.

I fact, this pretty much sums up how I feel...

I'm in pretty much the same boat. It's been at least a week since I've fired up the game.

At some point I'm sure I will come back for a bit to at least try out the new characters -- I enjoyed the Jugg enough that it sucked me back in for a few days -- but at this point I'm thinking that'll likely be in November when they've all been released rather than next week when the Artificer drops.

I actually spent most of my gaming time the last few weeks playing Witcher III. I picked it up well after it came out myself - probably a year-ish ago.

It basically has the same exploration/resource gathering/crafting/side quest model as DAI and MEA's SP campaigns, but with none of the tedium. It's one of the better games I've ever played.
