Mass Effect: Andromeda improvements
answers.ea.com/t5/Game-Information/A-list-of-improvements-fixes-so-far/m-p/5965690#M3943
1. Ability to have zero guns and wear only the melee weapon.
2. Ability to have zero weapons in order to facilitate crafting, but still unable to leave ship without a weapon.
3. Ability to disassemble equipped items, with a flashing warning when trying to do so.
4. "Virtual Reality" training area to test out weapon combinations (augments/mods). I don't have enough materials to craft all the weapons so i am unable/unwilling to try them out.
5. An upgrade to the Nomad to facilitate dig sites depletion. Right now i'm not even bothering.
6. Ability to interrupt conversations with Esc similar to SWTOR. Saving/loading is not the way to go as i cannot see what Ryder will say (the dialog wheel doesn't match at all). Or have a tooltip of exactly what Ryder will say.
7. Crafting interface needs improvement. Perhaps merge all the different ranks of a schematic and let us choose the rank during fabrication? Browsing between 10 variations of the same item feels very "beta-version" and unrefined.
8. Browsing between schematics should be instant and not take 2 seconds to load each item.
9. Prevent dialog interruptions by other dialog or actions. Pause it, defer it, postpone or replay it, i don't care. Very often i miss the little banter between characters and it is lost because a random animal happen to look at me while i drove by. These little banter moments are one of the best things about the game and it fails so often. I am forced to stop everything and wait until the banter is complete for fear of losing it.
10. Let me track as many missions at once as i want, there's plenty of room on the top-right side of the screen for that.
Tooltips for everything. Don't make me click 3 times on something that can be easily mouse-overed. I'm not limited by a console's controller.
User interface on PC is overall very bad. Everything takes much longer than needed. The organisation is a mess, with each menu having different sorting logic. We're using a mouse and keyboard, make a UI that uses that and don't spread things that could be done on a single screen with a single button over many of either. I can give you specific suggestions/guidelines if you want.
11. Let me change graphical options individually. I am still unable to disable Motion Blur or Depth of Field. Fixed!High five
There doesn't seem to be any point to having companions along on missions aside from story requirements or dialog. I can't control them in any meaningful way, can't customise their equipment, can't order them to use skills for those combos (what's the point if i can't set them up?). If this is, again, another symptom of console's inability to control many things due to controller's limitations then perhaps stop releasing it on consoles? Or at least make a proper version on PC.
Field of View slider should show what the angle is.
I agree

I really love the game, but there are many little things that are either compromises for consoles or I guess just ran out of time. Hope the game improves soon!
