I'm wondering if there are many pieces of concept art for space ships in that art book. The reason I'm asking is that it can help my mod, as I'm attempting to add some background lore elements to the galaxy map. In this case, the Ark of Antilin, the ark that the Virtual Aliens arrived on during the Cerberus Daily News in ME2, and I'd prefer to use unused concept art to represent it rather than design something wholly new. If anyone can help, please respond  |

I have the art of Andromeda, but there are very few images of ships at all. Mostly art depicting characters, the Tempest, the Nomad, the Kett ship and facilities. Plus art of the planet locations. Sorry if that's not much help, but the book is not all that large and they seem to have just thrown in the basics. It's okay, but not all that comprehensive like Inquisition's art book. No line drawings of ships, a few sketches of Kett facilities. Hope this helps |

I've added quite a few planets already, such as most of the missing homeworlds for the background races and a few other places from the Cerberus Daily News articles. I'm aiming to add small text-based assignments for some... eventually. There are some screenshots for it here. I have the art of Andromeda, but there are very few images of ships at all. I had hoped there would be abandoned concepts for the kett and angaran ships that I could make use of but I'll probably have to look at the original trilogy ship concept art instead. If anyone can help, please respond I have the book as well, i just went through it again and these are the only unused concepts i noticed, so i went and dug them up online. They are all from the Ark and Nexus section. One of them looks like a modified Mass Relay, interesting. Thank you very much ComingOfShadows! That colour image has some interesting ideas, no 4 especially and no. 13 feel like good fits for the Ark of Antilin to me. If only I could get a really high resolution image of their designs to use.

If anyone can help, please respond I've just finished Alien Isolation. Since MEA artbooks don't seem to be content heavy, you may want to look at that game instead. It's quite true to the original movie with it's 70ies SciFi feels. Thanks for the additional pieces of art, it's great to see new pieces like that. I attempted to use the images that ComingOfShadows provided (I was sent higher res versions) but they just do not look right ingame. It is not the design but the way the lighting is on the picture, it just looks poor, the resolution isn't strong enough and overall the texture looks a bit crap. So, I'll have to dig around, see if I can find a kind modeller to try and reproduce one of them for me. |
