Yeah, I agree on as little combat as possible in the cutscenes. There are plenty of opportunities where biotic/tech can come in handy though in conversations/cutscenes where it would be nice to see a little non-descript use of power is showcased.

Hm... you may be right.
I love to see every cut scene reflect Ryder's current class, level and gear. But, cut scenes are pre-rendered images. They are not dynamically generated.
Yep, Bio has been tooting their horn that the FB engine can slice and dice and make everything nice. ... nary a word regarding cut-scenes that reflect Ryder's actual look at the time of the interrupt.

That's not true, they're not pre-rendered. Your thinking CGI cutscenes in which case they couldn't even 'show' your character at all. They're by there nature heavily scripted though. And they have to do different scene parts to take into account all those things. It's easier to just not take any of that stuff into account. It's one reason we just get bogstandard assault rifle for most things in past games.
Either way they're not all pre-rendered. Anytime your character is involved it literally can't be pre-rendered.

It would be nice if Ryder can show if she's a soldier/biotic etc in cutscenes. The biggest issue was that Shep always for the most part defaulted to the avenger rifle in cutscenes no matter the class, and that always bugged me. Hopefully Bioware have found a way for any weapons shown in cutscenes to be class specific or more typical of a specific class.

I would love if cutscenes were relegated to being non-combat but, considering we are talking about a cutscene-heavy game series, i'm not expecting this to change. Now, however, if they did do variances depending on classes, that would be great. And, yeah, getting the right weapon/options would be nice too. The powers are a bit situational so i wouldn't expect all classes to shine during cutscenes.

I'll settle for actual stealth mechanics for infiltrators (or even non-infiltrators). Cloaking in a cutscene is only a secondary concern.

Adding class-interrupts would be great, but they have to make sure not to bias them to more preferable outcomes. I'd also like class dialogue to come back. Inquisition made it more obvious, but even the first Mass Effect had it for biotic Shepards when you spoke to Kaiden about Conatix.
