It may be me, of course, since it's still early here but the points you make in your post feel a bit 'adrift'. So, lemme slap on some more coffee boosters and run by them... I've seen longer teleports than that on occasion for months. Both on and off-host. Nothing's been changed. So have I, regardless of host: nothing's been changed. I agree but it also isn't the point. The point is casting sync-kill bubbles over long distances. I wouldn't know. In fact, apart from people within BW, no one would. Didn't we just say/agree teleport wasn't changed? I sort of expected this at the top of your post. Would you also say "I've seen longer sync ranges than that on occasion for months. Both on and off-host. Nothing's been changed."? No, I don't think that's more likely. I get the human experience being malleable thingy but still... I played three games against the Kett to try it out. In the first two, I kept within 10/15-ish meters from Ascendants on purpose a few times to see if they'd start a sync bubble over me: not once. Then, when it happened in the third game, I wasn't even trying. I was fighting other enemies and got sync-bubbled from behind. I dashed out from the bubble and immediately turned around: the spot behind the dissolving bubble was empty, yet a few meters further there were two Ascendants who were both only now just starting their teleport towards me. That's what I experienced and also remember happening a few times in at least the week before. I can't recall having experienced it before that time, certainly not for months. So you tell me... #andnowformoarcoffee I guess I can't say it's impossible that some stealth change was implemented, just that it seems to me far more likely than not that it's something that was simply background noise until your attention was called to it. I also can't know if I've experienced exactly what you're describing without seeing it myself, but it doesn't sound outside of the range of sync behaviors I've seen, or the range of hilariously wonky animations from Ascendants. I fully agree that I'm no more privy to Bioware's intentions with regard to what remains of support than anyone else, but to me the most relevant question is: what would this change accomplish? The only thing I can imagine is that it would be part of an effort to rebalance kett to be more difficult. I haven't heard anyone strongly voice an opinion that they stand out among the three as the weakest faction, and (admittedly anecdotally) I certainly haven't seen a tendency among PUG lobbies toward choosing kett. Further, syncs are generally among players' most-hated enemy behaviors - particularly when they are unpredictable and/or unavoidable. Any rebalancing effort would more likely manifest as a change to enemies' damage or hitpoint values. So, unless I'm overlooking some significant factor or mistaken about the rationale, for this change to make sense we'd have to assume both that: - Use data indicates that kett are imbalanced to such a degree that they required a correction; and - An adjustment to the Ascendant's sync range was the only (or one of few, and the least undesirable) corrections that could be made through a server-side value change. To me, neither of those seem more likely than the possibility that you simply hadn't noticed this before, let alone both.

Twerking as intended My gods.... Judging by the distance between the 2 cheeks... Either that room smells amazingly alluring.... or it smells like this guy looks... Judging also by the "hat" on her head, and the skank tattoo on her back.... Its a mixture of the two....?

I completely hadn't thought of why a newly perceived tech bug should apply to one particular unit only. But then I'm no techy. I wasn't on the track of a stealth update, btw, sorry if I was unclear about that. I was more along the lines of erratic behaviour due to latency. You make a good point, though. Hmm, I wonder if I could get JR to ask could this in the twitch...
