Ranking Every Single BioWare character ever. (The Tier system)

I'm not going to include all the companions from the Baldur's Gate games because many of them I have never used or barely used. I'm also ranking quality of character so some characters on lower tiers I still may have liked and some of the higher tier characters I may have hated but still enjoyed their character.

I've not played Jade Empire or Neverwinter Nights so I can't comment on those characters and i'm just not going to bother with SWTOR.

Not a perfect system but a general idea.

I can't do it, so instead I'll list the three Bioware characters that I think are the most underrated (limited to ME and DA):

James Vega - I think a lot of people were put off by his ridiculous appearance (srsly, Bioware?) but he has more character than most of the other squadmates in the OT. He's genuinely torn about leaving Earth, he is wary of the Cult of Shepard and you actually have to earn his respect to get him to open up.

Merrill - Foolish, misguided, desperate Merrill. I found her whole character arc so tragic, particularly when her village turns on her. A sad example of why the end doesn't always justify the means.

Cora Harper - Something something Asari commandos, I know. But watching her world being turned upside down firstly when Alec passes her over and secondly when her illusion regarding Sarissa is shattered is one of the more mememorable parts of MEA. So few Bioware characters have her level of character growth, even if her dialogue wasn't always well written.

Most overrated is Liara, for reasons that should be pretty obvious. I don't dislike her tho.

I'm sure I've forgotten someone in there

My ranking has to be limited to the ME games and honestly, I can't do one.  The rankings change depending on how I'm focusing each playthrough, how I'm structuring my PCs personality, who I happen to take on various missions, and (in the case of ME:A) whether or not I happen to trigger certain banters in the Nomad and at what points in the game I happen to trigger them (sometimes the banters are extremely appropriate and other times they are truly just "off").  Generally, I find the LI's for Male Shep and Male Ryder more versatile to construct variable stories around than the LIs for FemShep (still doing my first playthrough with FemRyder, so this really doesn't apply).
