Well, after an exhausting investigation, with millions of credits spent, I and a team of well dressed detectives (no those are not asari strippers) have concluded that Sr. Ryder was killed by... a goddamn sharknado. It makes sense, you need something really overkill to kill a N7 operative, for example a space brat and 4 bad choices an entire reaper invasion, other N7, etc...
You really thought that some weird air could kill someone? well, think twice before saying that. W a k e. |

I think he died because he was too stupid to share his re-breather with his kid, like everyone ever would do in that situation. Divers share oxygen all the time. In a universe full of actual rocket science, this shouldn't be rocket science!

From what I understood the only thing between themselves and terrible atmosphere was that helmet, though I guess it really makes the fishbowl a bad idea. |

How much air would be lost each time it was removed, donned and repressurized? This idea has never seemed feasible to me. Edit: I see other questions were raised, as well. I never understood why the same couldn't be done by Alec later. I'm no fan of that scene but Ryder junior's faceplate is shattered, not cracked, so that wouldn't work. Though why they don't carry some sort of 'magic clingfilm' for temporary repairs in situations like that I don't know. |
