The utility of Concussive Shot heavily outweighs the measly 50DR points of Fortify, IMO. Discuss.

Well, i'm running with only the basic 1 point in frag grenade, and i'm maxed in fortify and turbocharge outside of the 2 passives. I've not had any real trouble with him as far as games go. He holds his own on a gold just fine.

While I wish there was more differentiation between the human and turian soldier, fortification's 20% accuracy and stability bonuses make full auto guns more better. Plus, "tech armour".

He's a gun platform, it seems. 1 point in frag grenade for me. Any gun will benefit from full turbocharge. (Sure wish I had the Piranha, RNG...) He is good on gold, and fun to solo on bronze.

Turian soldier is boring because the guns are boring. And besides grenades and survivability its all he offers. The class is more soldier than the human soldier.

The utility of Concussive Shot heavily outweighs the measly 50DR points of Fortify, IMO. Discuss. If your main criteria for 'suck or not' is dps alone, he cannot outdo the HSol (perhaps in rare circumstances). Well, let me put it better, a skilled TSol cannot outdo a equally skilled HSol's dps because of the HSol's fully speccd concussive shot. The frag grenade, if you don't cock it, doesn't do full damage on both characters. But, he's loads of fun. Fortify's power armor gives you a 40% boost to accuracy/stability and lets you jackhammer everything with a Piranha, even when turbocharge's on cooldown. Fortify's rank 6 purge, if used right is an excellent crowd control tool. But, if you're too timid to use purge (which works really well on platinum btw), he probably is boring.

Same, though personally I'm not a fan of any class that can't CC, main reason why I love the Human and Krogan Engi's so much. Overload stops everything but the biggest baddest baddies in there tracks. Don't need DR, tons of health or shields if 90% of the enemies can't hit you because there stunned, frozen or on fire the second they see you.

He is solid if unremarkable.
His specialty is sitting in one spot and gunning down everything that dares to approach. Which he does better than any other character. This is effective, but not the most interesting thing in the world if the enemy is under control.
He is very good for solo work, which is why I favor him on particularly grueling apex missions, like one life to live platinum.
I run 6/5/3/6/6(turbo/fort/nade) His biggest downside is that he isn't the batarian scrapper, which really power creeped in on his roll, being very tanky and having tremendous damage output.

(electric stun) which is good for stun and CC? just lol as for the topic is concerned, he's a tankier less DPS version of the human soldier. He can hold his own in platinum with good weapons/boosters

What a scrubby Tsent, Spamming overload with 4a updated and a few rounds from the trusty Lancer can take out any fagola.

It's better on Platinum than the Human Soldier, imo. On platinum combo damage isn't all that and concussive shot tends to make you a liability if the team is using Snap Freeze so you'd be better off focussing on Frags than concussives. The Turians damage output is arguably better when you focus on accuracy and his survivability is right up there. I like to go for maximum tank-i-ness and accuracy bonuses so he's not only beefier than the human but more optimised for rapid-fire shotguns and SMGs which makes you more effective with the best weapons, it's a delicious build. Suggested Turian Build (66166)

Weren't we disappointed with most kits in general? We were, but we were also going to move on. You know, make the best of it I quite like the TSol on Platinum if I want to just gun something down for a change. Also using a Grenade-less build maxing everything else. Though I'm not sure about what to take for Rank 5 of Fortify. 5b would benefit weapon accuracy, 5a survivability.

He can hold his own in platinum with good weapons/boosters I don't like electric stun on my tsol, it is too costly and he can't combo it into anything. 2 frag grenades is far more useful to me. I tried it, but it just does not work with the way I use the character, if i try to use it every now and then it is either pointless or gets me shot to pieces, and if I don't go out of my way to use it it just does nothing because I gun down everything in sight at range. 6 points for an ability i will use naturally once a wave does not appeal to me. Also, stun and CC are the same thing. it is a CC stun.
