multiplayer is dead, everyone is on Destiny 2/MVCI

Though I still play a Gold Match or two every day or so, once Destiny 2 is out for PC, I will be abandoning Andromeda once and for all.
Destiny 2 is understandably not everyone's cup of tea, but for someone like myself, who enjoy hundreds of hours of grinding and some socializing in the process, it might be the best bet out this year. Besides that, the graphics on PC are exceptionally well-optimized, which is surely a plus.

As for Andromeda's premature death, I think it is well deserved. I had high hopes for this game, spent well over 600 hours in the MP mode alone and was seen as a fanboy as some point. I do think Bioware got a few things right in this game when compared to their previous MP endeavors - particularly DAIMP.
That being said, the loot pool boom on Patch 1.09 and the decision to call off all future content post-Patch 1.10, as well as not fixing nor even acknowledging many bugs (like off-host headshot one) made clear to us Bioware's lack of commitment to their game. Why should we be committed to it?

Agreed, Destiny 2 is a damn good game. I wasn't (and still not) a big fan of the cartoony graphics, but the weapons feel solid, the gameplay is satisfying, the content is good and it has a lot of future potential.

Game seems more fun than ever actually

The split in Destiny reviews is really based on the time people have to put into the game. Those with countless hours to play, feel like there isn't enough content because they burned through it all.

Those without that time to play, you know like parents with kids, people working 2 jobs etc.... are finding the quantity at a decent pace that doesn't require them to put 50 hours a week to get somewhere in the game.

The game does have issues though. The campaign AI is stupid, but on the harder content you notice the uptick in difficulty. The quality of life changes D1 made at the end of it's life, are not present in D2 which is incredibly fucking stupid. And there are a number of restrictions to prevent those players with tons of hours from farming their way to every decent thing in the game.

But those who are generally disappointed, are people who either have plenty of time to play the game or those who came in with predisposed opinions the game will suck and find reasons to justify their opinions (by pointing out the flaws without noting the improvements). Otherwise, it's a decent game with issues but will improve in time with enough player input.

Same way it took Warframe quite a while to improve, with enough fan input.

Destiny....Meh.

I hear Fortnite (sp?) is really good. Everyone is talking about that so I'm going to try it out. Don't know what to expect and it's free, but I'll at least give it a shot for a little while.

If you're on offical PVP and you want to buy some wyverns or dinos HMU. If you have rexs that hatch with 10k or more health I want to buy one eggs, turrets, or ammo.

I've been nearly completely sucked into Warframe recently, feel free to add me on Steam (crashsuit) and/or in Warframe (CRASHSU1T). So far I'm mostly soloing through the planets, plus doing some of the alerts with pugs.

Just downloaded Battlefront 2. It is really-really fun. I'm pre-ordering it.
