Making him bi was a bone to the people who were upset at the lack of m/m romances in the game, no more and no less.

If nothing else, BioWare is at least aware that their reputation as LGBT friendly and romance centric is going to get them more sales than it loses.

We M/M players never had an alien

We M/M players only got 2 options with crappy content in comparison with other demographics

We M/M players are tired of explaining how Jaal was bi before they scrapped the idea because devs thought fragile straightbois minds couldnt handle a m/m option in the squad (this was confirmed by gaycaravaggio, person that leaked romances and other kind of info that happened to be true, your choice to believe or not, dont care)

Fun fact: The entire mass effect franchise was actually created for Jaal and Scott, oh and the gaming industry...and the universe. It's just fate.

It's almost like people are expected to remain silent and complacent when video game companies continue to target only a select part of their demographic.
