So which class do you think fits the game better? I personally think mage makes more sense. After the war with the templars and a history of discrimination, it's sort of ironic to have a mage with the power to save the world and bring order to it.

Popular wisdom is female elf (Dalish) mage, because of the mage/templar schism and the Solas/ancient elven lore relationship, with or without romance.
But it really doesn't matter. No spec is so odd as to seem forced or awkward. Admittedly, any Templar that isn't human is a bit odd lore-wise, particularly a dwarf Templar, but by no means ruled out by established lore. Even if the primary source for that lore is a Tweet from David Gaider.

I think they all fit in some capacity and I like it that way. It was annoying enough when some racial options were given references over others and lacking in places it'd fit.
Like with Trespasser, the Qunari Inquisitor didn't have anything particularly special and the Dalish Inquisitor is famous for asking who Mythal was. It would have been like hearing Cassandra ask who Andraste was. *facepalm*
So in short, I don't want there to be a class favoritism in the story like there was with certain races and not all of them.
