SWBF2 Beta starting October 4 i want to remind that it's co-developed by Motive Studios.
EA moved BW Montréal staff from the moment MEA released to work on SWBF2 and then completely merged BW Montréal with Motive Studios when they could've transferred them to other BW studios instead.
As for Anthem, EA clearly put all effort behind it for their microtransactions Destiny clone, making BW Edmonton work on it while giving MEA to BW Montréal, and few months ago EA also put BW Austin on Anthem, they plan to support it till 2028.
I also don't doubt Anthem is the reason MEA SP support stopped so shortly without DLC, to get more people to work on Anthem.
SWBF2 = Star Wars Battlefront II.

I'm struggling to see the point here... Well obviously it is: Buying a game you think you will like is bad, because *something something*, giving EA money and that leads to *something something* bad. Pretty clear.  How can you not understand that, GEoM? :gasp: OP: Can you be a bit more exact in what you mean? Do you think that EA is being evil and people shouldn't buy game? P.S. No real interest in either game ATM. A little for Battlefront but I have bigger fish to fry. My 10 yo son loves Star Wars so we'll probably be getting Battlefront 2 at some point. I wouldn't mind giving Anthem a shot either but I have a feeling it's going to be more fun with a group of friends and my friends who play are in time zones 2-3 hours ahead of mine. Here's hoping for a robust SP campaign |

Not a big Star Wars fan, so wasn't super hyped about the "new" Battlefront 2.
Meh on Anthem because I'm not big on co-op or multiplayer (Borderlands franchise being my major exception). It's just not what I think of when I think of BioWare. Not curious to play the game, but I hope it's good because I feel like BioWare's future is riding on it.

Hate to break it to you, but I don't buy games because of the developers or publishers. If that is the only reason why you buy games you will miss out on a lot of good ones.
Personally I will treat any game from any publisher the exact same way if it looks interesting for me to play I will buy it.
