Well, first off, good to be back. A two week trip ended up being a two month away from the computer. Any rate I have a few questions that I seek clarity with.
1) I noticed in the Numerical Data Masterbook that it has Throw's detonation value at 0.75. Last I recalled they made that to a 1.0 detonation a couple of patches ago. Did Bioware nerf Throw's detonation, or is the Data Masterbook out of date?
2) I heard from a fellow MEAMP player that the ammo consumables Cryo and Incendiary are bugged and do not apply the weapon damage boost. Can anyone confirm this? I've tried looking but my search results aren't showing anything, but could very well be just buried under a mountain of threads.
3) Can anyone explain how siphon works? And by that I mean the Kill Streak Duration and Maximum Kill bonuses. I get it that you shoot, you get health back; but the additional information is rather vague. I'm not sure if the kill bonuses increase the duration, the health return, a combination of both, etc. If someone can just give me a brief synopsise of what it does I would very much appreciate it.

I'll try to answer some of your questions: 2) Cryo ammo will replace the debuffs applied by Cryobeam and Snap Freeze with its own. bsn.boards.net/thread/12885/disturbing-cryo-ammo-test3) Shoot an enemy and you'll get 3-3.75% health back. From what I understand, if you kill an enemy, you'll get an additional bonus of 4.5% of health siphoned (from damage) for each kill. You can stack kills up to 3 times over 7 seconds. So, if you kill three enemies in the time window, you can have up to 17.25% of the damage you're dishing out turned back into health.

Find random plat games. Play Jug. Use a good siphon. Don't detonate Snap Freeze. Only equip disruptor. Welcome back.

You can also detonate the shit out of Snap Freeze all you want with Juggs: he'll get you through Platinum anyway...

Yeah I've played the Juggernaut and see why it appeals to a lot of people, especially in platinum. Personally I find the Juggernaut boring, and haven't touched him since I leveled him up to 20.

Below that I mainly play the Kineticist and Kroguard. A lot of other kits are fun too, though: I also still play the occasional match of Krogan baseball with the Gladiator...

I haven't seen anyone from the research team post in a while (which is fine - their talents are better used elsewhere tbh). You'll find that to be a recurring theme around here now. 2) haven't ever heard of that bug, seems fine to me. The issue with incendiary is that it doesn't cause weapon damage to increase vs armor as stated. Cryo ammo will overwrite other cold debuffs such as snap freeze and cryo ammo. And of course there's the awful design decision that cryo and incendiary effects cancel each other. 3) Siphon has a base health drain (3-3.75% depending on rank), and kills increase the lifesteal for a set duration up to a maximum amount of stacks. Duration seems to work like rage where further kills reset the clock.

Why do you come back? Why? Why? Why not, I say. I play the game because I enjoy the game; it's not perfect but I, for the most part, like Andromeda. Plus there's the small matter of maxing my manifest again for MP like I did before Bioware dropped that big ass card dump on us... *angry fist shake* DAMN YOU BIOWARE!

Still a good source for info but I will have to be a little leery about it if it's not being actively updated.

Play Destiny 2 lol How is that so far, only played it once on PS4, really liked the "feel" of it but reading a lot online about issues, (since I only gave the game a quick 20 min touch no idea what any of the issues mean) Is there anything gamebreaking?

How is that so far, only played it once on PS4, really liked the "feel" of it but reading a lot online about issues, (since I only gave the game a quick 20 min touch no idea what any of the issues mean) Is there anything gamebreaking? It has been a huge improvement from Destiny 1. Loot drops, currencies, and grinding are being handled really well. Strikes are more fun now because the level design has improved, it has more diversity to it than the previous strikes. They did make some changes of powers from Titan, Hunter, and Warlock which are welcomed by most players. There are actually less glitches at the raid now and raid gear is amazing. Clan features has been improved, and there's matchmaking for nightfall and raid as well. But the game isn't perfect. A lot of people are upset about the "silver" micro transaction in the game. Most of the heat is toward the shaders. In Destiny 1, you can change the color of your gear by applying shaders, and they were permanent. So you can keep swapping different kind of shaders as you wish. But now in Destiny 2, the shaders had become a consumable, so you lose the shader when you use it. The benefit now is that each shader is being applied individually into each piece of gear, so you can mix and match colors. But the downside is losing the shaders. Some people also complain about the raid being too mechanically difficult. In previous raid, you can still carry the team sometimes if one or two members died in a level, but in this raid, you cannot, everyone has to participate to perfection. My overall verdict is Destiny 2 is worth playing and spending time on. I had fun shooting aliens and do the raid/nightfall/crucible with friends and randoms. And I didn't even get to talk about the crucible, and changes in power weapons and other things.

These are the things I was saying lol I have no idea what they mean because I don't know the terms used in the game. The italic part, while I could see the issue with most players, doesn't bother me in the slightest. At least if its the "color customization" hint I'm getting from your description. About 10 years ago a incredibly good FPS player (who should have become a pro... )taught me that colors are nothing but a distraction. Now unless you can literally camo into a map area from using them, they are "useless." That's actually a great business strategy. Turns out PC version drops same week I have a vacation. (4.5 weeks of paid vacation is getting annoying...) I want to buy it but I want to see if the PC version has any of its own bugs and annoyances.

Yeah I do find platinum to be quite enjoyable now. It's a shame the player base has dropped off a lot since it's difficult to find random groups to do platinum, and even rarer to find a group that can do it proficiently fast.

I had a bad case of that in a couple of days ago where friend and I were doing everything, while the other two were sitting back and hiding at one end of the map. They refused to move for any reason except when they were overran. If they were killing things it would be one thing, but it honestly felt like just the two of us were playing.
