The military cryo pod Advanced Traing shall give 10% extra xp. I compared the same mission xp reward Before and after I activated this pod. There is no difference at all. Is it bugged or have I mnisunderstood somethingP? |

Isn't that bonus only for encounters, i.e., clearing out these small exile/kett/remnant camps?

I think Krrks maybe right... the bonus says it applies to "encounters"; which I'm pretty sure just refers to those random areas on the planets, not the actual mission areas. I did one partial run (about 50% of the game) without the Cryo pod and lost the file and had to restart. On the second run, I did select that particular pod and it did seem to make a difference in what level I was at come that same point in the game. Of course there are a number of unaccounted factors involved though.

I might be so. I tried with and without that cryo pod starting from the forward station next to Hjara. A Little west from the is a spot where kett land. Often it is two chosen, and with the cryo pod the xp was +10% rounded up compared to without the podd.

Huh. I'd have assumed "encounters" meant all combat encounters. It's good to know exactly what I'm getting when I invest in this perk.

I've not tracked it close enough to actually say for sure that the missions never give the additional 10% XP. We do know that sometimes Havarl doesn't give up any XP for random encounters due to a random bug. This could have a problem along the same lines. I do know for sure that the XP you get from planet scanning and completing "talking-based" assignments is not affect by the cryo pod perk. |
