- Invasion + Cryotrap + Elemental Tech + Elemental Ammo Tipped Hurricane = Top Platinum Score. There ain't no fool out there who can beat her score.
- Tankier than the HEngineer.
- Tis a good day in Andromeda.

Yeah I just realised that the shield regen drone is separate from the Remnant VI. So VI at 1 and everything else maxed looks rather promising. Also gonna try Cryo Trap for Platinum on this build.

This is a good class, not sure if they buffed cryo beam again or not but this class seems better than the other cryo beamers out there.

It's a very effective class. No question about it. It's almost a strict upgrade of the humangineer.
Cryo Beam puts the class in the league of armor damage as all Snap freezers and cryo beamers. Invasion adds another large debuff on top of that. Drone provides some useful albeit unreliable defense. Elemental Tech provides the highest raw weapon damage of all freezers (except humangineer which also has elemental tech).
Obviously very effective, but also plays pretty much no differently than all of the platinum tier Freeze kits. I was bored to tears trying her out. Idk if this game will remain installed long enough for me to even try the next two kits.

Probably asking for too much, but I wish she had snap freeze instead. Other than that I'm enjoying the kit. Just sometimes I have to be mindful of her health and shields (Juggernaut is one of my favorite classes).

The Artificer is certainly an interesting character. I've played a few rounds with her and I like that she can take down mobs pretty easily, but isn't completely ineffective against armor. I had a few questions about her abilities. I thought about starting separate threads, but I thought I would ask here because since it's in the context of playing the Artificer. 1) How does the spread of Invasion work? Is there an incubation period or something? Or does it immediately start spreading upon "hit"? Does it jump targets like Dark Channel? I ask because Invasion seems to spread most of the time, but sometimes not (probably out of spread distance or lag issues). There's also the outbreak evolution, which seems to increase the number of initial targets (I think)?
Edit: I tested Outbreak myself. Trade-off between cool down and hitting multiple targets per cast. Unsure which evolution is best. More often than not I'd rather have cool down, but the few times I manage to hit a cluster of enemies with Invasion, it's worked out pretty well. Still not sure how invasion spreads after it's been cast. 2) What's the damage on the Invasion explosion? What bonuses increase the explosion damage? Tech/power damage or combo damage? 3) Similarly, what increases damage on snap freeze explosions from Cryo Beam? I appreciate any help I can get. Also, bummer that the defense drone's stun attack sometimes fails if the enemy has stun immunity (from beings stunned recently). Also bummer that Berserkers don't seem to really care about the stun attack because the only time it triggers on them is when they have stun invincibility from their charge attack. I guess we wouldn't want to make things too easy no would we? 1) It's a bit complicated. When you fire off invasion at a target, it hits with a 6m radius, 6m height cylinder (constant size, unaffected by any other stats) that applies status_removeimmunity_invasion; this, as should be apparent, removes any invasion immunity (which I'll explain in a moment) from all enemies in the target area. Next, it applies status_applicator_invasion to 1-3 targets within a variable radius (1m constant or 4m variable increasing with Tech and Power AoE mods, depending on whether or not you have the outbreak evolution). The status_applicator_invasion also removes invasion immunity (seems to be redundant), applies status_infected_invasion (which is where all the debuffs happen), and applies status_spreader_invasion. The status_infected_invasion applies all the debuffs, but also applies status_immune_invasion when status_infected_invasion expires, and this immunity lasts for 30 sec or until it is removed by a new cast of invasion; meaning if you don't kill a target while invasion is active and the debuff runs out, you'll have to reapply it manually or wait 30 sec for it to spread from another enemy. The status_spreader_invasion causes any enemy with status_infected_invasion active to apply the status_incubating_invasion to any enemy within the variable spreadradius (base 6m plus any power or tech AoE Radius mods) who are not already incubating, infected, or immune. The status_incubating_invasion has a random 4.75 to 5.25 sec duration before it applies status_infected_invasion to the enemy. 2) Damage varies based on distance from the explosion (33% at the edge of the explosion); the explosion is a 2.5m radius, 2.5m height cylinder of constant size, unaffected by any other AoE stats. Damage base is 250, improved by AoE Power Damage and AoE Tech Damage, but not by regular tech or power or combo damage stats. Damage can also be increased by any debuffs that cause increased electrical damage. 3) Frozen shatter explosions are only affected by the base frozenshatterdamage set in statlists for each character, plus the frozenshatterdamage from Cryo Beam; no other damage stats, but can be increased by any debuffs that cause increased cold damage.

So if I understand you correctly, in terms of the 1–3 targets, can it only affect 1 target without Outbreak, and up to 3 targets with the outbreak evolution?

Finally getting around to this one. The armor debuff is insane. Anyone have any definitive numbers on a maxxed out armor debuf build?
