I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's EA shitting on the series. Everybody's out playing Destiny 2 or pissed off or uninstalling the game. The game buys a nickel's worth, copies are going bust, shopkeepers keep the game hidden in order not to scare customers. Cheaters are running wild in the lobbies and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the game is unfit to play and the store is unfit to buy something on, and we sit watching our forums while some local player tells us that today we had fifteen crashes and sixty-three in game disconnections, as if that's the way it's supposed to be. We know things are bad - worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't play this game anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, 'Please, at least leave us Mass Effect 3 servers on. Let me have my Claymore and my Javelin and my Geth Infiltrator and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone.' Well, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot - I don't want you to write to EA reps because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the lack of support and Mass Effect being abandoned and Anthem and the hackers in the game. All I know is that first you've got to get mad. You've got to say, 'I'm a PAYING CUSTOMER, God damn it! My money has VALUE!' So I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window. Open it, and stick your head out, and yell, 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!' My 2 cents:
ME:A is still in stores where I live. No shameful removals or such.
I'm still playing it every evening, my friends are still playing it every evening and all of our lobbies fill within less than a minute.
Haven't ever seen one hacker here. The occasional afk-leecher, but those got disposed off quickly.
Me and my friends are not playing Destiny 2 nor do we have the slightest intention of ever doing so.
No more disconnects here than in any other online game. In fact, I've had way more problems with extreme lag and disconnects in SW:TOR than in ME:A. Don't make a game developer responsible for you playing over wireless or people in your living area stealing your bandwidth. Exceptions are always there, nothing will ever run smoothly for everyone in this world.
The current state of the game isn't good, but it isn't as bad as some are trying desperately to indicate.
Cut the drama, it could be way worse. I got my money's worth out of ME:A, so I'm at peace with myself and the world.

Bioware is fucked now. Their studios have leprosy - they've lost one limb already and it looks as if Anthem is about to cost them another. Nobody wants to buy a game from a studio that just gives up and stops support for their games after 5 months. Had ME:A gained 2 high quality SP DLCs (Quarian Ark and Benefactor), fans would be more inclined to give Anthem a try. But now there's no trust between the fans and the studio.

Actually in my case, your wrong, but its much worse. I dont know if true but only BioWare game that I know is Mass Effect Andromeda. And I always thought ME was biowares flagship game. Since ME3 ive been on edge of where bioware wanted its fans to be. Bad quality checks and support for a flagship game tells me that for something like anthem, it can only be even or worse. And even is pretty much $13 right now as geth put it. |

I had internet trouble for over a week which put a complete stop to all my online gaming, and I struggled to summon the 'wish' to play again after that long.. then.. i found myself clicking on the purchase for Middle Earth - Shadow of War on steam, and well, since that finished downloading, i've been playing that ever since.
I spent the best part of 5 months playing, but unless they make the drop rate better for UR's.. i see no major fun in grinding out 10 games on gold to get one UR.
I may return.. but bleh, i've said that before on other games, and more often than not once i move on. i move on pretty much for good.

As much as this game f***s me I still come back to it from time to time but I'm not about to solo Golds lol Tried to play a few minutes before posting this and there is like 1 other guy playing Golds on Xbox and its some dude that's only APEX 1200 on a lvl 1 Asari Huntress I.... As you can guess I got off and I don't know what to play now ;-; |
