I was in game today playing the Human Artificer and someone joined playing the same character, I noticed she had like a blue field around her, is this in the build or was it a hack, looked similar to what you see on asari when they dash if you know what I mean.

Going to guess they had a Bulwark weapon. That produces a blue aura around them when close to another player.
