"Increased damage from 189 to 140." Ah, BioWare math. This is how radius becomes diameter, people, it's Space Math! Edit: Also, something something something official forum where they could announce such things...

Halberd Increased damage from 189 to 140
When I went to school 189 was less than 140, not more.
Did Biower actually nerf the per damage shot to compensate for the increased RoF (in which case they should have said decreased damage), or are the numbers reversed?

They decreased the per shot damage and increased the ROF as per the suggestion of some super smart and probably really good looking fan. The gun feels a lot better now. It could have used a larger clip though.

I have a weird question: Does "via mobile" refer to Joe-man's post or my like? O.o
Because I'm on a laptop, not a mobile phone, and if Joe-man managed to successfully link a working url on a mobile phone without losing his mind wouldn't that break the internet? O.o

Has reddit offered any solutions to the horsecrap tornado that is the weapons (assault rifles mainly) of MEA? (and apparently my math formula ) Also my friend told me what I calculated was damage per rate of fire, per bullet.... at least I think thats what she said.... I was staring at her boobs... and yes I told her...

After taking the new Halberd for a spin, I like it. The damage is good and the fire rate is what should have been but man that magazine size is really a downer. 5 more shots per clips would have been preferable. I've yet to try the other buffed gun though. Kinda hard to find games on ps4.

The additional size magazines of assault rifles are 50% for the base one, don't remember the amount for the +/- stat one but its more. For a 15 you'll get +7 shots. On an increased clip size class like havoc its even more.

It feels a little more deadly, but still not very useful do to ridiculous spread. Only enemies it gets used on are hydras and fiends. Even with the choke it still has a lot of spread, and only time it gets good accuracy is with the weapons skill tree passive that makes your aim tighten when hovering. (anyone else think having more accuracy when your floating is just dumb.... ) I have it on most of my melee classes for the approaching shield drop and for stun. I would have rather had piercing built in and more armor smash. But meh. Speaking of buffs, I am loving that its finally kicking off, but not liking so far its been damage. The changes on Valiant tells me that bioware has the capabilities to adjust the recoil of weapons without a patch/update. The fact that guns that should have recoil dont and the damage is just being adjusted is telling me the no recoil casual crap is intended...... Which basically means balance wont be brought to andromeda, at least not enough.
But what do I know.... I thought they were completely done and within 2 weeks store ammo update and a micro balance change....

BTW.... what difficulty are you people playing on where this gun is popping any heads in 2 shots? Bronze? If your using mods to achieve this its not the gun.

It's enough time for a mook to get his head into cover in between. In just trying it for a bit, the Siphon variant works pretty well. You can cover fire and hit accurately. The ROF does take a bit of getting used to, but the magazine capacity negates the need to reload in the middle of a battle. I like it with Soldier/Havoc builds so far. And now, I have a reason to use my Assault consumables

Having guns get more accurate when hovering is one of the most illogical, counterintuitive things I've ever seen. That coupled with the fact that you become MORE resistant to staggers when your feet are off the ground makes me wonder if the devs know how physics work at all.
