why on earth would you need it for longer Someone with a job and a life might need more than a month to get through one playthrough. And if he liked the game, he'd certainly need it for longer. I mean I beat the game while working, its really not that long to finish everything in it.

I bought Star Wars: Battlefront yesterday for 9 euros and got Season Pass free (gold member bonus/sale if I recall right).
And to be honest, I paid too much for Andromeda, should've waited. I will be more patient for Anthem IF I am ever gonna buy it, which is a narrow possibility.

And to think EA would get my money if they weren't Bethesda greedy here. I plan to buy it when it gets that cheap here, though. To tray MP at least once.

My hand was warm after DA2, but it was absolutely ignited after the ME3 ending and was ablaze with DAI. Never again, I said. Ergo, Anthem will be an on sale purchase, if. DAI: no DLC purchased (only other time I didn't buy DLC was DA2) Andromeda.... I have under 3 hours remaining on my trial, and that has been that way for a month; probably uninstall it before I ever time out. Fuck 'em, and especially fuck EA. Brand loyalty is a losing proposition.

Paid 160 $ for collector's edition, was worth every penny. Tbh, I enjoyed the littl' Nomad even more than the game. Still drive it in my backyard every now and then.

but fair I think. You get a bunch of better games than ME:A for less money on a per month base 50/50. While I think MEA deserves the flak it got, for low standards you can have fun. Combat is pretty good, too. But yeah, I somewhat understand you.

Licensing is akin to renting, in that those who want to play the game once will find value in the service. But I have big problems on almost every level suggesting this sort of limited use licensing stuff will or should ever replace people buying games.

Which is very low. And what exactly would be an... "edgelord"?

The burned hand learns best, they say. My hand was warm after DA2, but it was absolutely ignited after the ME3 ending and was ablaze with DAI. Never again, I said. I had the same experience from the opposite direction. All the fuss over DA2 convinced me to stay away from the game ; I was already lukewarm on it because of the new art design, which I didn't like then and still don't. But when I got around to playing it I found that the problems were either not very serious or weren't problems. And then ME3 came along, and again, some of the issues raised were real, but many were nonsense. You learned to distrust Bio. I learned to distrust fans. This served me well with ME:A.

We have vastly different views on these games, to be sure. I have always found you a difficult challenge in that regard, because I almost always entirely disagree with you while still having read a generally logical opinion that is not prima facie balderdash. I tip my cap to you alanc9, you present yourself as reasonable at all points, even if your post is that of a BioWare employee.

Uhhh. Okay.
I dunno what it is. I dunno if it's just liking bad writing, I dunno if it's full on SJW-awareness, I dunno if it's a full blown Scientology-like "BioWare are gods of the industry" event. And truthfully, if I'm at the least bit honest with myself, I don't care.
But this is an objectively bad game. Sure, I liked DA2. Warts and all. You can't just pick one thing and decide the rest of it's bullshit.
