Do we have any solid number on sales? Or there's any truth in what those devils, Schreier, Yongyea are saying?

Do we have any solid number on sales? Or there's any truth in what those devils, Schreier, Yongyea are saying? Depends on what they're saying now doesn't it? Not about to run to their sites to find out. Here's one example though of the sorry state of gaming media - not the typos in this article: www.dailystar.co.uk/tech/gaming/653027/Xbox-One-massive-new-FREE-GAME-how-to-download-it-RIGHT-NOW-mass-effect-andromedaNote: I haven't altered anything in the cut and paste quote I took directly from the article (that is, they may decide to edit their errors after the fact, but this is how I found it). The biggest error though is in presenting us fans who wanted DLC as somehow still "wildly hoping" for DLC. They clearly announced there would be no DLC (even after Schrier and others assured us the EA would never make such a final announcement on the matter). When EA made that announcement, we certainly stopped "wildly hoping" for DLC (if in fact just stating that one would like to see some DLC constitutes "wildly hoping" - I don't think it does). Time these sorry reporters actually caught up with the news and stopped grinding the same old axes.

Despite what the people on this forum want to think, Schreier was quite accurate concerning what he said about Mass Effect. Shouldn't come as a surprise though, he's been quite accurate in general concerning predictions and inside information on a few games. He's obviously got some solid sources. No numbers on sales though, which is nothing new.

I said he was being unprofessional... something he chose to prove absolutely by taking screenshots of posts here and posting them to his twitter account for public ridicule. I still say he behaved unprofessionally... and what I said above was that whether or not what he's saying right now is true depends completely on what he's saying. I'm not, however, going to fall for the bait here and click on his site just to find out.

"Mass Effect Andromeda is now free on Origin provided you're subscribed and paying monthly".
I'm not sure the word free means what the writer of that article seems to think it means.

I'm not an EA Access member and I don't play on PC so I don't know anything about Origin either... But, I'm getting the immpression that the games in the vault only remain playable as long as you maintain your EA Access membership. Do you know whether or not that's the case or can you just join up for a month and continue to play what you "download" after cancelling the membership?

Dragon Age Inquisition entered the EA Access Vault after 37 weeks. Mass Effect Andromeda entered the EA Access Vault after 30 weeks.
It's certainly faster given the lack of DLC, but it's hardly revolutionary.
As a further comparison, the following games joined the vault after...
Titanfall 2 - 39 weeks Battlefield 1 - 41 weeks

Witcher is the most awarded game of all time, you should pay double for it and be grateful for having the honor of playing one of the best games in history.

So, with everything happening in the world, you think the lowest our species can get is thinking The Witcher 3 is one of the best games ever made, despite you praising the lazy work that is Mass Effect Andromeda? You remind me of how far we've fallen as a species with that statement.

Can someone edit the thread title to "Andromeda free on EA Access"? suikoiden doesn't seem to understand the difference between Origin and EA Access, and as written the title indicates that ME:A is in the Origin free games program, which simply isn't true

As they say in my country "Go cry in the bed where is warm".
