effective use of MF?

Gold weapon mods

Assuming a decent arsenal:
Use credits on technical mod packs until you max out all uncommon mods and common mods (I'm not sure how quickly you'll get common mods from this because mine were already maxed).
Use MF to get the rest of the gold mods AFTER you did the above step (because you'll get quite a few along the way and any ex).
Use MF to get UR characters or weapons... depending on what you value more.

That's my opinion at the moment. Buying technical mod packs after common and uncommon variants are done is just too painful.
If you buy mods ~40-50k credits -> 120 MF (it seems like it takes 2 to 2.5 tech mod packs to get a rare on average)
If you buy UR's ~400k credits -> 960 MF (but credits give you 7 rares as well).

That was my rough napkin math. I favored credits for UR's and MF for Mods, since that meant more rare progression, but it is up to you.

They accept Andromeda Points only.

I hope angara are not susceptible to scale itch....

At this point, the store MF items should be available ALL of the time; not just on a weekly rotation.

Still trying to get UR's to X, so I use my MF for that.

I strongly go against this. Just like people who swear up and down buying reserve packs for UR characters is the way to go. And there is a VERY simple reason.

The game doesn't run that way.

I can go into any platinum match with any level 1 rank 1 character and still make an impact as long as I have a level X dhan and X hurricane. But I can't do the same with a level 1 avenger and a level XX anything character. The game is based on weapons > characters.

I think the choice between maxed characters and hurricane X is a false one. If you got enough packs to get characters to XX via reserves... You have gold-siphon hesh/talon/shadow.

I only get naladin concussive now when weapons drop, so I'm bitter right now about weapons.

If your still after any UR, your gold shouldnt be spent on mods. Every 20K spent on a mod pack is 1/5th of a chance to unlock a UR item that youve put in effort for. MF are ~free~ so if you really need mods, which no one really does unless they have max variant URs anyway, its just more effective to buy mods with MFs.
