what are you spending your mission funds on? i recently got back into the game after a somewhat longer break and im sitting on 7k MF and dont know what to spend them on other than the gear we get from time to time. i feel like 900 on a random UR char isnt worth it but maybe im wrong

Apart from the UR character, there is nothing to spend mission funds on anything other than new equipment. I say have at it, hoss.

You can now buy all mods variants in store packs with credits. Can't remember the name of the pack, but I think it's 20k one. Best way to use them is to buy UR kit, like captainkei said, or UR weapon.

Assuming a decent arsenal: Use credits on technical mod packs until you max out all uncommon mods and common mods (I'm not sure how quickly you'll get common mods from this because mine were already maxed). Use MF to get the rest of the gold mods AFTER you did the above step (because you'll get quite a few along the way and any ex). Use MF to get UR characters or weapons... depending on what you value more.
That's my opinion at the moment. Buying technical mod packs after common and uncommon variants are done is just too painful. If you buy mods ~40-50k credits -> 120 MF (it seems like it takes 2 to 2.5 tech mod packs to get a rare on average) If you buy UR's ~400k credits -> 960 MF (but credits give you 7 rares as well).
That was my rough napkin math. I favored credits for UR's and MF for Mods, since that meant more rare progression, but it is up to you.

At this point, the store MF items should be available ALL of the time; not just on a weekly rotation.
Still trying to get UR's to X, so I use my MF for that.

I use them to buy the gear that comes into the store every so often. If I have built up a lot I'll use them to buy one of them thar UR's I mostly use them to top up my in game consumables. I always have lots of ammo packs but have to buy the other three things often. (cobra, health, revive)

I took a break as well so currently I use them mostly for XP enhancers. I'm between 100-200 MF, and I doubt I'll save enough for URs after leveling everyone, so they'll probably go to mods.
If I had 7k though, I'd by UR characters.

If I had 7k though, I'd by UR characters. I strongly go against this. Just like people who swear up and down buying reserve packs for UR characters is the way to go. And there is a VERY simple reason. The game doesn't run that way. I can go into any platinum match with any level 1 rank 1 character and still make an impact as long as I have a level X dhan and X hurricane. But I can't do the same with a level 1 avenger and a level XX anything character. The game is based on weapons > characters.

Another gun level provides no change in gameplay, and at this point I know the game's not interesting enough to hunt down a max manifest. So I'm going for characters, to get at least the option to play each kit with full points.

I think the choice between maxed characters and hurricane X is a false one. If you got enough packs to get characters to XX via reserves... You have gold-siphon hesh/talon/shadow.
I only get naladin concussive now when weapons drop, so I'm bitter right now about weapons.

Anyone know what happens if you use 960MF for a UR Characters card when you have UR Characters maxes? Would you get a standard booster or a UR weapon card?
I remember making the mistake of buying a common weapon mod with VF after maxing them out and getting a regular booster.

Booster Let us not forget the bioware code. If so, guess I'll use MF to get Gold weapon mods then. If your still after any UR, your gold shouldnt be spent on mods. Every 20K spent on a mod pack is 1/5th of a chance to unlock a UR item that youve put in effort for. MF are ~free~ so if you really need mods, which no one really does unless they have max variant URs anyway, its just more effective to buy mods with MFs.
