I don't have an Xbox. I am curious about how some things were fixed and implemented on pc VS Xbox, like the talon Merc and the power wheel. I am wondering if anyone had a modded 360 that is able to dump the patch_001.sfar file and the mp5 dlc sfar file off the console. I have tools to open these files and it would tremendously helpful.

You know what though, I think I've got a USB->HDD adapter at home, I'll see if I can pull those files for you later tonight. My 360 isn't modded but with the right software I think I can pull the drive, hook it up to my PC, and use 360 file explorer software to get the files that way.

OK, I had trouble getting the connector I had to hook onto the drive properly without taking the drive out of the enclosure, and on the 360 Slim there's pretty much no non-destructive way to do that, *BUT* I was able to copy some stuff to USB and transfer it to my PC that way. I've got the MP5 DLC sfar file uploading right now, but I'm trying to figure which part of the game patch_001 is, is that part of some basegame update, or one of the DLCs, or what?

Thanks crash. I just realized that without proper LZX decompression algorithms this will be pretty hard. I may have to use quickbms to split the chunks to files as I see no libraries for LZX compression. Sounds Microsoft proprietary.

OK just FYI I didn't forget completely, I'm pulling all the MP expansion SFAR files right now, then I'll upload them and post links. Still trying to figure out where patch 1 is hiding, I guess it's in the basegame update file? I can't copy that (or the install discs) over to USB so to get to it I think I'll have to uninstall ME3 from my X360, then reinstall to USB, then pull them out on my PC. Kind of a pain but maybe I'll be able to figure out where the coalesced is hiding at least.

I have the patch_001 and patch_002 files here as well, I pulled them from the game discs, but the file storage system of the discs and updates is weird and I'm not sure if I'm grabbing the pre- or post-update patch_00x files. There's a few different files here, per the picture below, but I just grabbed them all and zipped them up and you can figure out what's what maybe. patch.zip mirror 1patch.zip mirror 2

Here's the last of the MP DLC sfar files, this one took a lot longer because it's about three times the size of the other ones. Let me know if you want any other files from the 360 version and I'll see what I can do. MP4 sfar mirror 1MP4 sfar mirror 2

Patch2 is a balance changes patch. Its known as PATCH2. Patch001 is internally known as TESTPATCH.
Coalesced will be under biogame/cookedxenon (xenon is the internal name for 360).

Not sure if you ever wanted the X360 coalesced, but here it is. I've got the disc image on my PC now along with a compatible file browser so I can pull pretty much whatever you need. Still can't figure out a way to edit the coalesced and keep it the same size though. mirror 1mirror 2

You won't be able to. I don't think you will be able to edit it anyways as all of the tools are for Intel processors and the Xbox one (can't recall it's tho exactly) has a different endianness.

I can pull it apart with Gibbed's and edit it, but it won't repack to its original size, so right now I can't reinject it without overwriting other stuff.

Yes they have an algorithm that can't be replicated perfectly. It's the same on PC.

I left messages with the creators of Wenchy's and Gibbed's to see if they ever got anything working properly with the X360 coalesced but I'm not expecting they did. I never did hook my console's HDD to my PC but I'm gonna try that again soon to see if I can just replace coalesced that way. If that doesn't work though I think the last resort would be to get a RGH or JTAG but I'm not sure I want to have to go through all that.

I'm pretty sure people have used modified coalesced files on X360 before but there's frustratingly little info online.

Here's a different kind of question. Any idea which SP-only parts of coalesced.bin can be missing but still have the MP stuff work?
