Not bad. PAW might be a bit OP now, but that doesn't much matter at this point. Wish the Piranha had gotten this buff six months ago. Your face is OP. Over pretty. Edit: In all seriousness, so I'm surprised they can change reload times. That's pretty cool. But why did they leave out sniper rifles? I concur. Some of those snipers are unusable just because of reload times. I can out-DPS anyone I've played with so far when it comes down to my Shadow vs. their Black Widow, and I used to love that thing. The Widow is especially poor here.

Single shot snipers have a clear progression lane (Widow->Isharay->Kish), just like how semi-automatic AR's do (Mattock->Halberd->Valkyrie). Eventually, you just stop using the lower progression guns. There is no reason to use lower tier weapons except progression (do you have siphon yet? is it still too heavy?).
The black widow does have a silly large headshot multiplier and should be equipped with a wall piercing mod - two aspects lacking in the shadow (though I love the shadow as well). I find the extra shot from munitions to be transformative for the Black Widow and the Lanat, and I boycott the two guns on any other kit. Their reload time also benefits from that same talent. I do prefer the Shadow at this point in my progression over the BW, but I also don't have BW-siphon yet.

So the best you can do with any sniper rifle is two body shots. But unfortunately your time to kill is severely limited by the rifle's reload speed. Admittedly I stopped playing with sniper rifles a long time ago (about the same time I realized how easy the Hurricane is to use). What's your experience with reloading, shieldgate, and time to kill?

But unfortunately your time to kill is severely limited by the rifle's reload speed. Admittedly I stopped playing with sniper rifles a long time ago (about the same time I realized how easy the Hurricane is to use). What's your experience with reloading, shieldgate, and time to kill? When it comes to Gold difficult... For the one-shot snipers, which I don't use much either (except the kishock)... On the standard shielded targets, I tend to do a lot of 1-2 combos to them when using very hard hitting snipers. One option is one-shot shield with the gun, then incinerate or flamer. Another option is fully specced overload or flak cannon, followed by a one-shot to health. Another option is grid/cloaked damage, which might mean a reload event if you don't land the headshot. With grid you can be cloaked again to do your reload and get your bonus. I wouldn't carry over anything but the Kishock into platinum. There, it taking two shots is a little more bearable because everything has so much health. My favorite snipers for non-munitions are inferno and valiant. Both shoot fast enough that the shield gate is less of an issue, while also getting that big head shot bonus and both are able to be equipped with wall piercing. With munitiions, both of those get better, but the black widow becomes viable too. Inferno is not for every kit, it helps to have something to do/use while it is recharging (powers). The main three advantages of hard hitting snipers (both the valiant and the black widow do this well) are additional headshot bonuses (+70% and +100% damage respectively), wall piercing and stagger power. Usually with reloading the 5-6 shot valiant or 4 shot black widow, I just use the time for shield regen. Take cover and let that glorious cover bonus to regen delay do its work. If danger is so close that I can't reload in peace at that point, I'll swap a talon(siphon). Hurricane and Rozerad are both great and easy to use, especially if you are into priming enemies. I usually have one of them (Rozerad with unaimed mod, Hurricane with clip size) with me in platinum, just because of how effective they are on ascendants and blindly shooting over cover.

I tried a Gold solo with the Angara Exemplar and the Isharay + Ushior combination. Thinking I could create an electric field and shoot with the Isharay. One miss and you’re stuck reloading over and over (as you get stunned). I put the Isharay back on the shelf and finished the mission with the Ushior.
If Phasic Rounds and reload cancelling from ME3MP was in Andromeda, it might be so much of a problem. I was really good with the Javelin back in the day. The Kishock Harpoon Gun is the closest to that feel in Andromeda. Inferno and Valiant are decent UR sniper rifles.

I really like the commando. One of my favorite characters in MP now. The guardian I like but was not as impressed as the commando. Still trying to figure out how to set up his powers.
Im glad to see there are some weapon buffs, especially ARs. However I believe it is too little.
I still find just about every AR to be very ineffective above Silver. The only guns I will use on gold or platinum are the Hurricane, Rozerd, and the shorty.
In my opinion this does not make sense. I understand this is a video game universe and not real life but this weapon balance very inaccurate.
Machine pistols and submachine guns like a full auto Glock, Uzi, or Mac 10 DO NOT have more fire power than an assault rifle like the M16, AK47 or M1 Garand.
I dont like that small hand held pistols like the Rozerd, Hurricane, or Silhesh are far superior than any AR for damage.
In ME3 the relationship between SMG and Assault rifle was correct. Some favorites were the Saber, Phaston, Harrier, original Mattock, Argus and m7 lancer. All of these were great options for bronze all the way up to platinum.
Based on the singler player full auto mod. An full automatic N7 Valkyrie and an full auto Mattock would be great additions provided they are not debuffed. In order to keep these from becoming TOO overpowered. Make turbocharge do nothing or just add bullets. No increased fire rate or damage increase.
Thanks
