Marian Hawke is such an amazing and gorgeous woman.

Who? I really did forget that the default is Marianne or whatever. I am just not big on the default characters. But I wish I could use that warpaint on custom Hawke's.

Overall DA2 is the game where I much prefer the male lead to the female. That voice... not my thing.

They didn't have the default hair for her if I'm not mistaken...they have something close to default male Hawke's messy do.

Garrett's too old for a ~25 years old man, rather ~35+ He seems older than Anders, who is ~29–32 at DA2 start.

Best looking default character from Bioware. By far.

I love her features and her beautiful hair. And those striking blue eyes. Not to speak of that silky voice for which I could kill.

There are mods out there which add the default face as a preset which you can modify. In my current PT, I'm using a slightly tweaked default face, it's pretty nice.

Also played one PT with the default face with the red personality (and was a blood mage), it was absolutely fantastic.

I always used to make custom faces, but now I am a firm believer of the default face thanks to Marian.

It's a shame that she doesn't look the same in DAI :/

As far as VA goes, I think Femhawk was done a bit better than the malehawk, just like I think the femshep was done a bit better than maleshep. My first PT are always on an unmodded game with defaults and then subsequent PT are done with mods/CC.

I always have a brief moment of "eh?" when I hear someone referring to Hawke as a dude.

I love the default versions of both. My only complaint is that Marian looks younger than her 18-year-old siblings and Garrett looks super old. Is "mid-twenties" really that difficult to design?

As far as I'm concerned the default face is iconic and basically is Hawke so I prefer to use her exactly as she comes out of the box, minus the 'ketchup'. Tried a few custom characters but they never feel quite right to me.

For some reason I always play female Hawkes and male Wardens. Part of it is that I don't particularly like male Hawke's voice, but other than that it just feels right. I could never explain why.

I also use 'Sheploo' for Mass Effect, for the same reason that the look is 'iconic', and other appearances just don't seem to fit properly.

I always thought the default female Hawke was beautiful. Which is why I first chose her for my first playthrough. I wish there was a clone of female Hawke running around so that way my fem Hawke could romance her. Yeah, she's a little conceited.
