After I defeated 3 (whatever they were) I didnt realise I was supposed to speak to 2 of the krogan and I fast tracked out of arena. Now I cannot get back to speak to them. Will this gave an impact on the outcome?

I cannot remember exactly, but the majority of things that have an type of impact is later in the game, but all it does is give you a little help during a mission. Have you tried to speak to the Shaman again, for normally if you abandon something like that the quest might reset to the point just before the arena. |

No. It's an optional side mission ... fun, but no consequence to the game. The worse thing that could happen is you miss some XP that might trigger at the end of the conversation (I can't remember if the XP triggers upon defeat of the last fiend or after the conversation).
The conversation is funny ... two options (won't spoil them) ... if you do the game again, make sure you're facing both Krogan or the sound won't be very loud WRT their responses.

Thanks I may see if I have a save just after i defeated the 3 creatures just to see what the conversation was.
