if bioware were to come out with a remaster of the trilogy, what would bioware add to the remaster? Would it be similar to the master chief collection here they added new cut scenes to lead to the future of the series. or maybe add new multiplayer maps inspired and from the two older games? or add to the ending even more (maybe edit the ending so they can open up their opportunities story wise.). Or what else would yall like?

New multiplayer maps would actually be pretty nice addition, especially if you're one of those people who pretty much memorized every firebase the original game had to offer.
Me? I wouldn't mind some small cosmetic goodies thrown about here and there, like new armor sets. As one who really didn't like the overabundance of Cerberus-branded shit despite them becoming zombie Nazis in space, having some new armor would be welcome. I would not be opposed to the CC getting some tweaks in the process. Looking back at ME's character creator for each game, it was seriously limited.
While I'm overall fine with the ending, it'll always be that elephant in the room. Personally I'd welcome a change to the trilogy's conclusion, but more than that, I feel that a remaster of the game might have a hard time leaving it as it was in the previous gen version.
I thought about new weapons, but ME3 had so many fun unique weapons that it wouldn't be necessary really. However, that would be a good opportunity for ME1 and 2, where we had weapons that were so similar as to feel generic, or there were just not that many at all. I'd so go for having my Harrier retroactively be with my Shepard since the beginning. Biower pls.

Not an add on but what I would like is for them to open up the recruitment of squadmates in ME2 so you can get them in whatever order you like.
Oh, and they should give Tali a proper face.

Well realistically here is what I can see. like what was said above new maps for mp. New armor and casual wear for Shepard and squad. And that's it sadly
But one cool thing biowear could make is one combat experience across all three games 1 powers cool down separately 2 ragdoll effects on characters and objects 3 combat roll, biotic blink, thruster Pack, 4 Mass effect 3 weapon system with heavy weapon choice and melee. 5 crouching 6 one or two more bonus powers slots for the mp powers
As For what I want, more hub(earth) and bigger more lively hubs (citadel and omega) plus planet exploration in the second maybe third as well
Addthe mass effect 3 ship models and fish In 2 with new ones added as well. Also at the very least the ability to change the look of the furniture in Shepard's cabin, if not change things arrow add things. Also more music like sr1 theme Flux and Coras den

I think the idea of a remaster was shot down with the DAI Keep like update on the archive site.

I wouldn't touch a remaster with a ten foot pole because you know they are going back and make a mess out of it by trying to give everyone what they say they want and ruin the games, in a lot of ways it would become an Andromeda 2.0. There are enough people that if BioWare/EA go back and make any alterations that weren't in their personal wishlist the internet would be set ablaze because of some reason they will mirror with what they feel. Imagine if they made Kaiden bi-sexual in the first game, now BioWare is being all social justice warrior without giving any new romances to the majority of straight white people.

It would have to be a lot more than a simple remaster for me to be interested, the trilogy has aged quite well considering. Not sure what would be good though.

New armour sets would be nice, plus casual clothes and some new hairstyles (I'm mostly thinking the few new things in ME3 added from the start) plus getting scars in ME2-3.
Some cut content/forgotten stuff like companions remembering about Thane existence (and death) post Cerberus attack, but I guess minor stuff mostly. Oh, and probably Kaidan may be a romance fo maleShep from game one. No ceating Jacob or chance for femShep to romance Garrus in ME3 with no import from ME2.
What I'd personallly like but I guess is just wishful thinking: a mission/chance to save Thane, Vega becaming a full romance with no disturbing Citadel DLC situation, a real face for Tali, a mission with Kal'Reegan, truly different take back Earth in a suicide mission style using the allies gained during the game, and different outcomes based on choices, different endings with actual cinematics, be it reunion with LI, actual funeral or complete defeat (and all in between).

What you're talking about seems more like an actual remake than a remaster. More than likely a remaster would probably use all of the same old audio with just a glossy layer over the visuals. As for making Kaidan bisexual in the first game, I don't really see why that would be a problem. Retroactively acknowledging something established firmly in the last game shouldn't really be a big deal, should it? Now, if they made Ashley bisexual, then beam me up Joker.

As suggested in another thread, a new, believable ending, that would make it possible to just ignore Andromeda and make Mass Effect 4

The thing is to me if you are going back and remastering a game people will expect changes even if EA comes out at the announcement and says "no changes to what was sold" you will have people upset about anything they found deficient. I can see that now with Blizzard and Classic World of Warcraft, people have changed from "we want classic servers" to "we want classic servers, but include this upgrades". Now I get you might feel that way about Kaiden, but the comments I saw around when they made Jaal bisexual for players gives me no real room for hope people might be accepting of changes.

Well, they’ll always be upset about something or other. I suspect some will be upset with the idea that BioWare is bothering with a remaster over making an actual new Mass Effect game. As for Kaidan, that change already happened a long time ago, so what’s the difference? By now players who disliked that Kaidan became available to M!Shep in ME3 should have come to terms with it.

Just remaster the trilogy giving it a new coat of paint. With all 3 games, include all dlc's, and include all weapon and armor packs for $59.99. I would be ok with that. As for add-ons? I don't know. Add the Harbinger dlc.

How about this:
Replace the Stargazer scene with a repeat of the scene of Shepard waking up on the SR-1 back in the first game. repeating those lines: "I saw synthetics, geth maybe, slaughtering people, butchering them."
It was all a dream brought about by mental contact with an alien technology.

I would be interested in a remaster if it:
Updates all graphics and game rules to ME3 level adds all DLC into the set, and I mean ALL of them
I don’t want anything else changed.

Oh, and they should give Tali a proper face. I agree. The use of a graphic alteration to the free stock photo of Hammasa Kohistani requires an imperative redo. In ME-1, I'd like to see a partial reveal of Tali's face, perhaps her eyes or a partial side view, but not full exposure. For example, on the trip to Ilos, have an opportunity for Tali and MaleShep to begin a closer personal conversation and friendship, but not an intimate scene in bed. Though this is a story re-write, by keeping it to a 2 min. conversation I see this as a minor improvement.

And, a better CC in all three. I really like the apha-numeric codes for each aspect of the facial options (so they can be shared among players, and use these codes in all three games). Plus, better or more hair options, and hair that can move/flow a little bit.
Allow for mods and cheats in SP mode in all three games (can Frostbite allow for this?).
And using stealthier paths to go undetected and bypass enemies (XP for not being detected).

- Give you more time with the Virmire survivor in ME2, and then not have them act like such an ass at the start of ME3.
- Scrap the R/B/G ending and and just have Shepard and the crew execute the plan everyone agreed upon. Use the Catalyst to destroy the reapers. Not collateral damage with EDI or the Geth.
- After previous change, make the Citadel DLC a celebration on a rebuilt Citadel after the war, and not shore leave.
- There was a hub world in ME1 they showed in previews that never made it to the actual game. Restore that and missions to the game, and also add some more loyalty missions to ME1, and improve the ones that are there.

Aside some metions of the others:
Amplified the assualt on Earth (you are attacking with a massive fleet, you should be able to capture/fight an entire continent at least).
With that in mind... - Open several fronts across the globle to divert some pressure from London (ex. east/west coast of North America, The southern part of South america, Middle-east, etc...) - Contact with different resistance cells and help them - Bring back the Mako and throw more armored vehicles (Make battlefield: 2185)

Also, add some new dialogues
"I'm Garrus Vakarian and this is my rectum" "Report to the ship as soon as possible. We'll bang, okay?" "Steak, Liara. I fucking love steak." "I saw them screwing reapers. DEAD reapers."

Easy modding for console players. That's about it. I don't see this happening though, the archive to me says they are looking forward, not backward. And always twirling, twirling! Yeah.
