I'm wondering if I missed out on Jaal's loyalty missions or if I'll get another chance, see spoiler below: I finished Voeld and then did the rescue mission, after I got back and went to talk with Jaal I reached a point where he made a comment about being glad he was here, or something, and I had 3 options to pick from, one that had two people in it, and then 2 that were like I'm glad you're here to. I didn't pick the one with two people and then later I looked it up and the description says that option usually indicates building a deeper relationship with someone and doing building their loyalty. So did I just miss out on my chance to gain his loyalty and start his missions?

Nah the two people holding hands is to activate the romance, you don't loose out on loyalty by not picking it . There is no number approval mechanic in the game, so if you make sure to talk to him once in a while after main quests and when he asks you to come over, you should be able to get his loyalty with ease .

Dosen't really matter wha tyou choose really They either do it by e-mail or Suvi/Kallo will tell you they'er looking for you when you return to the Tempest. You just need to keep an eye out for it. That's how the loyalty missions work anyway. Pretty much the same way as it does back on ME2 in the trilogy
