[Day/Night Game] Trouble on the Citadel - round "LE Part 2: Why Cerberus Is Right For You"

Well, I'm relieved to know that my "tactic" on voting from player to player actually worked out. I'm also relieved in finding out I was right on the trail with my questions. Also good work Urdnot Cati!

I do have to admit that I was a tiny bit suspicious of gervaise when they wanted to add Javik back to the suspect list (but not completely suspicious to the point where I wanted to place my vote on them), and when they became eerily quiet during the last moments of the last round. But all in all, Gervarrus did a great job with blending in with the rest of the Heroes. If I hadn't done my bouncing around from player to player, they could have lasted another round or two!

As for the game, I thought it was fun questioning Space and figuring out who could be the other spy, and like I said before, I definitely wouldn't mind playing another version of this game in the future, especially with a little bit of tweaking. I'm also down for another game of the Classic Game as well, if other players want to go back/miss it.

So regardless of which version of the game we'll play next, sign me up for another game!

Because of I still really new there, I don't mind. The new one changed even during the game – so, perhaps it worth a new try.

Do you all feel like the roles other than the spies and Shepard had enough to do? There was so little discussion during the day cycles and I don't want the game to be boring for the majority of players.

I have no idea how any of you knew it was Gervaise... lol

The questions led me to nothing. My only suspicion of Gervaise was that I thought she was the only one who would be bold enough to try the "be the only spy" tactic.

If it would have made it to me using my powers that night, I have no idea who I would have targeted lmao.

And yes, I was Jack. 

I think, things will get a bit more dirty when Shep is a spy. Looking forward to this

It is more simple than mysterious: Pela suggested, and I figured, this is the right answer.

If we were to go back to the new version, I do think allowing a protective role that can protect each night will help, along with the tweaked version of Jack. This will allow powerful roles. such as tweaked Jack, to feel safer coming out and to reveal their findings.

But like gervaise stated previously (if I remember correctly), allowing certain number of roles in one game could be OP for the Heroes. So if we were to allow Mordin/Michel and Tweaked Jack in one game, we might have to have Liara sit that same game out. And if we were to allow Liara/Mordin then we have to have Tweaked Jack sit that game out and etc.

Also, since Space has stated that he felt a little bored with the captured spy, maybe we could add some sort of ability for the captured spy? I'm not currently sure how though.



I get how me performing that tactic was bit gamey and a bit of thorn on your backside , but by not allowing this tactic for the Heroes, there's really no way for the Heroes to figure out what the captured spy is lying about, except for when I perform my ability once per game. And if the Heroes aren't able to figure it out some sort of way, then the questions are essentially not helpful at all.




Those questions did turn out to be a lot helpful in the end though. If it wasn't for me and the Heroes figuring out the spy could be either Garrus or Kaidan, then me sort of forcing players to hint in the end, I wouldn't have been able to figure out that the male roles were more than likely Cati or gervaise.
