It is so long since this came up I can't even remember how I played it. I think we assumed that it would block Liara as well but, as you say, it doesn't actually mention her name in the description. This may be because it doesn't actually waste her ability if she can't use it, whereas the others only have one use apiece so it needed to be made clear that they are not wasted but blocked and so can use them another night. A compromise might be to say that she can investigate someone the following night but she won't get the result until after the voting on Day 2, so cannot use the result of her investigation to influence it.

As for Mordin, he is so new there is no precedent for how this can work but since he is only handing out protection rather than actually using it, you could argue that he could still do this at a party.

Whatever... say what you want, but I still say it was nudie pics she sent.

As for the blocking or not blocking with Javik's ability. I think technically you're in the clear seeing as how (currently checking OP) the OP doesn't state that Liara gets blocked. Now, I think it would make sense for her ability to be blocked just like everyone else's if that is to be the intent of Javik's ability. But for this instance, as was said somewhere before in one of the games... if it's not in the rules, then it isn't against the rules. So for this game, let it ride, maybe think about amending it for future games if the majority think it should be.


Mordin is new, so this falls under the testing him category. I say just let it ride and see what happens.

Okay, so I assume that means we can discount any character who needs a special type of rations and AIs of course. It is a while since I played Mass Effect so I'm a bit hazy on whether someone had a particular liking for these two items. Unless it is one of the guaranteed good roles it doesn't really help me much.

I think I will open by voting for Reed but like everyone else I am open to persuasion to change.
