Sorry to put you on the spot like that but it is important. As I have said, unless I've got Pela totally wrong, there are only two possible options for the spy, Reed and Moonae. The worrying part is that if Mordin gave a spy the protection by mistake last night, then tonight they will be able to eliminate two of us. I had hoped he had given you the protection but if he didn't either he missed your hint or he is not a hero. If he did get your hint then Grunt probably protected you last night. Actually it would be better if he didn't as he can then protect you tonight.

Just for clarification, I only said I had figured out which roles were in play (bar one), not necessarily who is in those roles. The narrative confirmed that both new roles are in play so I figure that out of Reed and Moonae at least one of them is in a new role. Neither role is guaranteed to be a hero.

Okay, here are some further thoughts on why the spies chose the targets they did for elimination of those who have given hints as to their identity:

They would not choose Pela as it would activate her ability and that could be used against them the following day, plus she could still be regarded as a target for suspicion. Of course this is why the Virmire Survivor is such a good front for a spy because people will not vote them off while their status is in doubt and there is an convenient reason why the spies do not eliminate them at night.

They would not choose Fylimar because they probably assumed that Grunt would realise who she was and protect her overnight. Since he cannot protect the same person twice in a row they knew that his protection would not be available to her the following night. However, that does point to Grunt being a hero.

That only left OG who had hinted at a protective role so naturally that is the next best choice to an investigative role for elimination.

Of the people who had not made any hint, Cati had been the lowest profile so may be they thought that indicated an important role, so that is why they went for him. It is possible they were looking for Grunt or Mordin.

The narrative seemed to suggest that Mordin is good because he was handing out protection whilst the spy was busy elsewhere. However, if that is the case, to whom did he give protection if not Fylimar? As I've previously mentioned, I hope it wasn't to the last spy by mistake but it could just have easily been given to one of those eliminated during the night, except the narrative doesn't suggest that. If Mordin is a spy then he would likely give the protection to someone the spies had no intention of trying to eliminate the following night.

Great, then if we are wrong about Moonae presumably you will be able to check one of the other suspects overnight. Another reason for getting all my thoughts down now is that I may not survive the night if we have got it wrong.

Moonae, if you are truly innocent, now might be a good time to hint at your identity in the interests of survival and to help your fellow heroes.

Sorry Moonae, another apology is in order, that was a very good subtle clue but I am obviously being a bit dense. Hopefully no one diving in and challenging it is an indication you are telling the truth and not simply that everyone else is as slow to catch on as me. Funnily enough on my list where I speculatively assigned people roles I had actually got you down for that one.

So that narrows down the range of suspects to Reed and Pela. Since I have two vote changes available to me, I am going to change my vote from Moonae to Reed just to keep the debate going.

Another thought occurred to me. Grunt isn't necessarily good. If the spies were really cute they would have avoided taking out Fylimar in the night to make him look innocent. A high risk strategy admittedly as she could have investigated him but a possibility if he wasn't featuring high on the list of suspects at that time but it would mean they might miss their change of eliminating her.  Plus Grunt could always excuse himself that he didn't realise who Fylimar was and protected someone else.   So Grunt being evil does seem unlikely.  However, if Romice is Grunt then we know she is good. (Also the narrative would seem to imply he is good as he was guarding while the spy was indoctrinating)

Okay, first: To be clear, I don't find Pela particularly suspicious. Her voting pattern doesn't exactly scream spy to me. (Although, to be fair, I have to look no further than myself to find past examples of spies voting for each other.)

However, if Pela is a spy, then I, as the very model of a hero, have... reasons to be wary of her nighttime activities.

Again, I don't really think Pela is the spy. And if she were, looking at the numbers of players left, this likely won't be a problem this round but rather the next one, so not something to panic over right now. I'm just putting this out there.

Reed said last weekend he doesnt check the boards on the weekend. It's as if he has a life or something

Well, if you , romice, and gervaise are Heroes, then either Moonae or reed have to be the last spy. So my reason for being suspicious of reed is pretty much due to eliminating other Heroes as possible spies.

Right now, you need all the protection you can get flyimar, so for that reason I'm not going to vote off Moonae just in case she is a Hero. Which means my vote is on reed.. Reed could be a powerful role as well, and if he hints at a role that is Guaranteed Good, then I'll probably switch to Moonae or maybe gervaise.
