Stupid weather was playing hide n seek with me. Dark skies in the early morning, I turned off everything. Then dark skies in the evening, didn't seem like a thunderstorm so I didn't disconnect the pc. ZAP!  Luckily, I was issued a spare modem when I re-contracted last year so I changed the modems out. Just as well the modem took the brunt, I was thinking the PC was fried. The next time the skies farted, I'm turning off everything.

The lane is set, the pins are ready, the robotic bowler is ready...

Shepard dashed past several film sets, dodging the odd purple blobbed mannequin sprawled in the hallway. She turned the corner. I'll be damn, good timing.
"Hey," she called, "cornered the bouncer?"
"We trapped something that was bouncing along the hall," said Liara. "Behind that container." She pointed to a large crate in the corner of a small alcove.
"Alright," Shepard said as she looked around. "You," she pointed to the person on her left, "Pull that crate when I say so. You," she pointed to the person on her right, "Sing it. Liara, you open the crate and get ready to slam."
"I'm miles better than Tinkerbell," said left crew, "100% genuine article, why do I get to pull the crate?"
"Genuine article?" scoffed Tinkerbell.
"Yeah, natural in every way. Not like the assembly you had when you were just a thought and a blueprint," left crew pointed aggressively at Tinkerbell.
Putting steel in her voice, Shepard said, "Do as I say or you both go on ice ... in the same room."
The two glared at each other before moving away.
"Ready," said Tinkerbell.
The other only snarled.
"Now!"
The crate flew forward explosively. Tinkerbell braced, prepared to throw a singularity, but nothing appeared. Stepping forward cautiously, Shepard looked behind the crate, then at the alcove. Nothing. Where did it go?
"All right, spread out and look around. Turn this place upside down, we have to find it before it gets out, said Shepard.
The crew separated again. They searched for a whole night before Shepard conceded that whatever it was, was gone. The crew returned to the Normandy and spent the entire day sleeping.
Player eliminated ; no one.
NIGHT has fallen.

Very interesting play of events here, no one actually got eliminated during the first round. I think this benefits the Heroes a little bit more than the spies however since typically the Heroes are down two allies at this point. One downside to this though is that there is no voting pattern so far to go off on for the next round, so the Heroes are still going to be without any leads unless Liara is lucky enough to catch a spy during this night.  |

Mid morning, Shepard summoned the crew to the lobby at Silverstrip Movies. The building was deserted, locked down by Citadel Security, pending investigations. She climbed up onto a crate so they could see her.
"All right everyone, I've some bad news. Dr Chakwas is presently in the hospital. During the search last night, she was attacked and ..," she paused, as if searching for a word, "slimed."
"Slimed?" a crew member muttered.
"According to the doctors, the creature is called the roburoro. A supposedly comfort pet. Like a dog or a cat. However, when it hits its mating cycle and can't find a mate, it will actively spread its reproductive fluid. This usually produces an allergic reaction outside of its own species, often disabling mobility. Most of the people who were attacked, had recovered. However, Dr Chakwas's condition has not improved. It will take sometime to analyse the problem. It could take a week or more but if we have the creature, an appropriate antihistamine could be fabricated. We are not going to wait. CSS (citadel security services) have given permission for us to locate and capture the roburoro."
The crew looked at one another but said nothing.
"I'm sending you a vid of the roburoro. If you see it, lock it down with biotics and hold it in a container or bag. We'll search in groups of two."
The crew separated once more, heading off in different directions. The two agents lingered behind in the lobby. Once everyone was gone, they set off after a duo down a hallway.
"Stupid waste of time," one grumbled as he lumbered down the corridor.
"I agree," said the other. "A more sensible strategy is to find a mate for the creature, prepare a trap and wait."
"You should have said something."
"The path to enlightenment is every primitive's burden."
The krogan growled as they stopped outside a door. "You still could have said something."
The door did not open when he stepped up. A hard slap at the control panel. The door remained steadfast. Growling louder, the krogan reared back and slammed the door with a hard fist. The metal buckled at the edge. Lips drawn back to reveal sharp teeth, the krogan continued to pound until the metal warped. The agents hid in an alcove and watched the two.
Observing the damage, the prothean commented placidly, "That is a very primitive response."
"Shut up!"
With a heave, the krogan pulled the door aside and vanished into the room. Ah, an opportunity! One of the agents whipped up her arm and fired. At the same time, an arm reached out to grab the prothean.
"Get in here, we're supposed to be partners."
The purple blob flew past, completely missing the prothean. The agents hurriedly backed further into the alcove when the krogan roared, "That critter nearly slimed you!"
A huge figure pounded past, followed by the prothean. The two agents sidled off in the other direction once they were gone.
It is now DAY

Yes, well done Grunt. Plus we now know he is definitely in the game this time round, which is helpful, and Grunt knows one person he should not vote for. So I'd say the heroes are in a much better situation than we were at the beginning of the night.
