I'm in the middle of doing some baking for a party tomorrow, and I'm kind of running behind, so you all have until tomorrow morning to vote. Let's say 10 hours from now or so.

Probably too late to change everyone's minds, but you all really should be voting for Obsidian Gryphon. I cannot stress this enough.

Sorry, everyone. Events occurred this morning of the this-cake-is-ruined-and-now-I-have-to-make-another-one variety, taking up my would-be internet time. I'm going to write the narrative now.

“...I’m sending it over now,” said the woman, punching commands into her terminal. “I’m taking a risk, you know. Commander Shepard may finally kick me off the ship for this.”
“It’s worth it,” said the voice on the other end of the comm. “Got yourself that nice apartment, didn’t you? You get me a few more juicy stories, you can even buy your own ship. No more hitching along with some spectre.”
She smiled. “No more sleeping on a bunk, no more asshole pilot. Tempting.”
“Keep ‘em coming, then.”
“Yes, sir. Signing off.”
She stretched and yawned as her terminal powered down. It was strange, suddenly having so much room to work in after getting used to her confined quarters on the Normandy. And so much privacy! On the Normandy, she’d had to put up with Shepard barging into her quarters whenever the Commander pleased, always complaining about one thing or another, or being antagonistic in interviews instead of just cooperating for once. She would have to go back to that once shore leave was over, but for now? For now, she was going to enjoy this.
Whrrrrrrrrr-Beepbeep! Brrrrrrrrrr--
She sat up suddenly and her head swung around to stare at the door. It sounded as if someone was hacking her lock! But who would possibly..
WHOOSH!
Shepard burst in -- as much as one could burst through a sliding door -- and crossed the room before the woman could even roll her eyes at the universe's sense of humor. James Vega and Garrus Vakarian came in right behind the commander, looking menacing. Shepard grabbed the woman by both arms and shoved her into the wall.
“Search the apartment, James,” Shepard ordered. “Garrus, get her terminal and find out who she’s been talking to.”
“What the hell, Shepard?” the woman said, wincing. Shepard hadn’t injured her, probably, but the Commander’s grip on her arms was painful.
“Have you been sending information to Cerberus?” Shepard barked.
The woman’s eyes went wide. “Wh-what??”
“Cut the crap. Cerberus. How much have you told them?! Where the hell is that thing you used last night?”
The woman shook her head frantically. “I swear!” she begged. “I haven’t told Cerberus anything! I wouldn’t even know how to get in contact with them!”
Shepard bared her teeth. “You expect me to believe that? You’ve been spreading lies about my crew, trying to frame them, when all along, you…”
“Shepard?” the turian interrupted.
Shepard turned toward him, keeping the woman pinned to the wall. “Find something, Garrus?”
“Yeah, but...not what you expected. Come look at this before you kill the reporter.”
The eliminated player is…luketrevelyan - Diana Allers Night is declared.

What do you all think about the following roles?
The Evil Clone Each day, you must impersonate one of the hero roles by giving at least one hint. How subtle the hint is, is up to you. You may choose the same role or change each day. If the hero you are impersonating gets voted off during a day round, the elimination will leave ambiguous whether the clone or the real character was voted off, and you will assume the role (including any special abilities not used). You will decide whether to continue playing with the heros, or switch sides to help Cerberus. Only the GM will know your choice.
Kasumi Goto Once per game, Kasumi may cloak herself and go snooping at your not-so-friendly local Cerberus office. She will learn the role being attacked by Cerberus that night. If she correctly tells the GM which player has this role, then Kasumi's warning will cause the player to escape indoctrination that night.

I think playing as the Clone would be awesome, everybody would want that role

The words 'evil clone' draws my approval before even reading the description and it's even more fun with the descriptions. Both roles sound like a lot of sneaking and fun!

Both sound super fun! Not only that, but the addition of the Evil Clone will add a little doubt whether someone is being truthful about their hints or not. Especially with roles such as Garrus, Wrex, and Legion. I have questions about the possibility of Evil Javik and Evil Kasumi though. If the player gained Javik's ability and becomes Cerberus, can you role block certain roles within the Normandy? Like Liara? Or should the player not consider Javik's role if they're planning on being an agent? Also, could Evil Kasumi work? and how? If this role could work with Cerberus, could the player guess who Liara is investigating that night and prevent her from investigating?

If this role could work with Cerberus, could the player guess who Liara is investigating that night and prevent her from investigating? I was thinking about that, how being an evil clone might effect each role. I guess the first question is, does the evil clone learn who the Cerberus agents are, or do they have to work it out like everyone else? Evil clone Garrus could just aim to shoot a hero. Evil clone Miranda could maybe just save herself if the agents mistakenly try to indoctrinate her. Evil clone Liara could use her investigative ability to figure out who the agents are in order to aid them, and could even toss out false hints during the day rounds. Evil clone Javik, though...maybe I need to change Javik's ability next game so that he prevents every night time ability from firing, not just indoctrination. Only the agents would get a double whammy the next night, though. Evil clone Kasumi is harder. If it changes too much upon becoming evil, then it will be obvious to the other players that Kasumi isn't really Kasumi. Maybe evil clone Kasumi doesn't get to use the ability?

A few other things I'm thinking for next game:
1. Miranda officially can save herself from indoctrination. 2. Kasumi can't save herself from indoctrination, since she would obviously be able to guess her own identity. 3. Have anywhere from 2-4 Cerberus agents, but only the agents know how many there are.
Any thoughts on that?

Hmmm... Yeah, maybe Clone Kasumi could stick with the Normandy crew for now in order to use her ability. If she switches she could just learn about the other agents and just be an additional asset to the team. Maybe that could be her ability and the rest would have to figure it out themselves?
I also agree with Evil Javik. He could possibly be a roleblocker for the Normandy. He could roleblock Liara or Garrus, once per game. Or like you said, all of them the same night, and the the agents gets double whammied the next night. That doesn't seem too OP to me.

I like that. Evil clone Kasumi doesn't get to use Kasumi's ability, but instead finds out who the Cerberus agents are. All other evil clones need to figure it out just like anyone else. He could roleblock Liara or Garrus, once per game. I thought about that solution as well, but the only problem is that if Javik decides to block only Liara or Garrus, it would be obvious from the narrative that Javik is now evil. If everyone gets blocked equally, then Evil Javik has a better chance of staying hidden.

Well, crap, here's another thing to think about.
Let's say one of the spies is pretending to be...I dunno, Wrex. And evil clone, thinking Wrex really is in the game, also pretends to be Wrex. Spy!Wrex gets voted off and thus revealed to be a spy. Does the evil clone now get to be Wrex? Or does the evil clone become a spy?

Spy!Wrex gets voted off and thus revealed to be a spy. Does the evil clone now get to be Wrex? Or does the evil clone become a spy? Hmm. There's two possible solutions to this: You could tell The Evil Clone which roles are in play to avoid this. If that's too OP then maybe this could be a possible risk to the Evil Clone. If the role they're trying to become is actually not in play and a spy is simply hiding behind said role and that spy gets eliminated, then the Evil Clone will automatically join Cerberus without said role. After this happens the Normandy crew could probably easily figure out who's the Evil Clone. But not if the Evil Clone's hint weren't as obvious. Plus, like I said, this could be part of the risk of being this role. So yeah, it doesn't make that much sense for me for the The Evil Clone to actually become that role since that role isn't actually in play. Plus the spy didn't actually have those abilities they were hinting at, so I don't think the Evil Clone should have it either. (I hope this wasn't confusing! ) Also I agree with your version of Evil Javik. That version will be able to protect him a bit with the Normandy crew.

If the role they're trying to become is actually not in play and a spy is simply hiding behind said role and that spy gets eliminated, then the Evil Clone will automatically join Cerberus without said role. So, they would become a spy without any sort of special role? Or would the ability just not activate, and the clone has to choose someone else to impersonate? Maybe that's the choice they make if they imitate a cover role and the spy is eliminated: if clone wants to keep playing with the heros, then they must pick another role to impersonate and carry on as usual; but if they want to switch sides, they then become a spy and get pulled into the Cerberus agent PM thread.

Okay yeah, this seems a lot more fair and makes the most sense. Now that I've thought about it some more, they could just choose someone else to impersonate and hope it's not another spy. The other players will easily pick up on the fact that they're the Evil Clone at that point, but I don't think Cerberus or the Heroes would want to get rid of them yet.

Agent was lingering in an alley, monitoring the entrance of the movie studio where the prothean had been hanging around recently. Agent couldn’t imagine why Javik had such a fascination with Blasto 7. The film was sure to be a bigger travesty than the last six put together. Even a brain riddled with a serious case of reaper-pox knew that.
A hand clapped Agent on the shoulder.
“Bwah!” Agent squawked. Agent spun around, coming nose-to-forehead with Kenneth Donnelly, who had suspicious grease stains -- and a smudge of lipstick -- on his collar. Gabby Daniels stood behind him with a bright smile on her face.
“Hopin’ to catch a glimpse o’ Blasto, are ye?” said Donnelly. He removed his greasy fingers from Agent’s shoulder. Agent resisted the urge to rub the dirt off said shoulder.
“Did you know the Commander and Javik actually met him?” said Daniels, tossing an arm lazily over Donnelly’s shoulders. “Apparently he’s a delusional, pompous ass. Don’t waste your time trying to get an autograph.”
“Besides,” said Donnelly, “the Commander’s buyin’ rounds at the casino for the whole crew to celebrate catchin’ Diana Allers’ smear campaign. You comin’?”
Gabby nodded. “You should. It’ll give us all a chance to get to know each other better. You work down in the armory, don’t you? What’s that like, getting the Commander ready for battle?”
Agent grimaced and leaned against the wall, hoping to keep the studio in peripheral vision in case the prothean tried to sneak in again. Agent didn’t really work in the armory -- this task would be so much easier if that were true -- but there was no harm in letting the engineers think so. “It’s, uh...weapony. And armory-...y.”
Donnelly started laughing. “Been in your cups already, haven’t ye? Come on,” he said, grabbing Agent by the arm. “To the casino with ye!”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The prothean eventually made it to the casino, after Agent endured an hour of watching Shepard order round after round of drinks, and watching the crew get drunker and drunker.
Agent seethed inside. An hour would have been plenty of time to find the ancient saucer-head and indoctrinate him -- the thought of bagging a prothean for The Illusive Man practically made Agent salivate -- but no. Agent was stuck here with this bunch of idiots, unable to indoctrinate any of them without leaving witnesses.
Well, it was no matter. Agent would just wait them all out! And when the prothean left to go to sleep, Agent would follow him and indoctrinate him.
“Cheers, Commandah!” the prothean exclaimed, raising his shot glass. Shepard knocked her glass into his, and they both downed their shots in one gulp. Agent had lost count of how many shots Shepard had had, yet she seemed barely affected by the alcohol. She was certainly enjoying those Cerberus upgrades. Ungrateful, alien-loving wench.
“Screw it,” Agent muttered, and downed the two shots sitting in front of Agent on the bar.
“In my cycle, one drink was enough to knock out ten protheans. It would kill any of you primitives to get even a whiff of good prothean whiskey,” the prothean said.
“See, that’s what I like about you, Javik,” said the turian. “You always know how to build a guy up. Make him feel good about himself.”
“Nonsense, turian,” said saucer-head. “In my cycle, if you were weak, you died. Turians, humans, asari...there is too much coddling in your society. You will never survive this way. You must harden yourselves if you are to defeat the Reapers. Leave the weak behind. It is the only way.”
“You’re a rainbow of joy, Javik,” said Shepard.
And so it went. Story after story. Hour after hour. ‘In my cycle’-this and ‘you primitives’-that. The drinks kept coming. And the only way Agent could tolerate the stories and keep an eye on the prothean was to keep drinking.
“The hanar is --hck!-- making a f-fool of you, Commandah,” said one of the two -- no, three! -- protheans currently swaying on the same barstool.
“Uh huh,” said Shepard, narrowing all three of her eyes at the prothean. “You feelin’ ok there, bigshot?”
“You sh-should kill him --hck!-- Commandah! Throw him out an airlock!”
The tank-bred krogan slammed five fists onto the bartop. “No. Let me rip his limbs off one by one,” he rumbled. “I’ll do it for your honor, Battlemaster!”
“You’re all mmmaking this WAY too complicated,” the turian slurred. “Just dance ffffor him, Battlemaster.” He reached out to pat Shepard on the shoulder, and after a few tries managed to reach her ear. Agent didn’t blame him. Agent wouldn’t know which of her many shoulders to aim for, either. “Either he’ll ssstop making movies about you, or...uh...or…”
The turian shook his head like a parrot trying to rearrange its feathers. “Uh, Shepard...did-did you always have that many freckles?”
“Alright, I think you’ve had enough.” Shepard began snatching the drinks out of her crew’s hands, including Agent’s. Agent pouted. “Move out, people,” Shepard ordered. “You can sleep it off at Anderson’s apartment.”
The others grumbled, but stood up and began to stumble towards the exit. This was it! This was Agent’s chance! Agent pushed up from the barstool, with heavy arms and heavier legs, and a very light head. But Agent soldiered on.
All Agent had to do now was...was follow the saucer-head and...do whatever to him! With the device! With the indi-indoc-inodrictin-
-the indictrinator! Yes, that was it.
It was getting awfully difficult to follow the prothean with the room slowly rotating onto its side, though. Had something happened to the artificial gravit--
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By the time Agent woke up, fake sunlight was streaming through Shepard’s living room window. Cheerily, mockingly. Right onto Agent’s face.
“Ahuugh,” Agent groaned, head in hands. Agent sat up. Very. Slowly.
Sitting across from Agent, the asari was cradling a glass of something clear and fizzy, and the quarian was moaning quietly about her induction port. The jarhead with the enormous arms was in the kitchen cooking something and singing merrily in Spanish. Shepard was pouring a mug of very fragrant coffee for the ex-Cerberus witch.
Agent gagged and excused Agent-self to the bathroom, which wasn’t completely a lie. The need to empty the stomach of all present and future contents was overwhelming at the moment.
Agent flushed the toilet and curled up on the cool tile floor, pulling the indoctrinator out of its hiding place. Agent powered it on and…
Error code h4h4-a55h01e: Battery level critical. Please plug in bef---
The screen flickered off.
“DAMMIT! AaaaAAAAAGH!” Agent nearly snapped the blasted thing in half.
Shepard’s crew had evaded their destiny. Again. But it wouldn’t be for long. Agent would retreat to Agent’s secret hiding place, make preparations, and get an early start that night. Maybe no one was indoctrinated last night...but tonight? Tonight would be double duty. Agent smiled.
Daytime is declared.

Pela You can always try. After all, the buzzing head can make you vote wanders. Ahhh the feeling you get as a villain when you know your bacon's on fire.
